I used to play on an action server where the 'Big Boss' was a dragon of immense power, it required an exceptionally well balanced party of at least 5 to take her down and even then the battle lasted at least 40mins real time. (And I must point out this was with 'uber' gear being readily available). My point is that dragons can be made to be the awe inspiring creature they should be, even given the naff AI limitations. Heres an idea, why not have a competition where the members of this fine ...

Re: Hrm... I'll take less lag for 1,000 Alex. 2/24/2004 6:49:51 PM   (Total replies: 1)
Question : Was the little invisible emote spider thingy always summoned on client enter, the reason I ask is that you have the little do-dad in your inventory to summon it. Because most of the lag I've observed is when someone logs on or off, it seems to me that if everytime someone logs on/off this little invisible summon has to be summoned/unsummoned as well, so I'm just wondering if that could be contributing(sp?) to the lag. From a personal view I would have no problem summoning it when ...

Since 1.62 I've notice a dramatic drop in lag - except what i get on my end due to my crappy graphics card (Missus won't open the purse strings....) :(
