I missed the IRC playout because I couldnt quite envision how the whole bunch of us could have input, I didnt want to log back in at a later time with a dead char and have to try to get a dm's attention, and I was afraid that I would simply become a spectator which I find frustrating.)) |

I'm going to be fairly specific about food crafting here, but I dont really think it's going to confer an unfair advantage IG to anyone.
Since a bakers oven came with Avari's house I thought it might be mildly fun to have her bake some bread. The first thing I realized was that her oven doesnt work (no menu when items are put in). I want to request that arcane archers be given full use of the Latonai Oak House--we would seem to have a natural affinity with the rangers and druids, and it would certainly help with the already ponderous process of bow and arrow-making. |

hee hee My whole original post was made so as not to ask for something to be produced that wasnt already there, based partly on how few arcane archers are active anymore. What I'd really like to see is one public-use carpenter's bench outside of the Oakhouse, but things like that seem to be long in coming. And yes Narenia's solution is better but much more time-consuming for the builders. I further believe that if there'd been a vote taken among the player-elves, a more practical crafting ... |

somethin I suggested a while back--a meetin' a folks--was shot down one thing to ask is how many of the original folks are still playing characters here. then ask if that makes a difference. A suspicion I have is that to become a "popular" server this place has compromised past recognition----nice to have your work rewarded I can understand---but to change totally aint quite victory. If this makes little sense I suggest we could discuss it between whatever pills all of us ... |

It was a good place then it wasnt. My thought is perhaps the original mission-statement should be revisited---other than that we have a levelling server---and there are a lot of those. |

I decided to try to make bows with a new char this morning. As soon as I got one hickory branch from a tree, the tree changed from "Hickory Tree" to something like "Tree-Choppable Hickory, which was no longer able to be harvested from. This happened with 4 trees in a row. |

It would appear my major concerns have been addressed, which were to make transportation between the Port and Midor more frequent and cheaper. I dont find the delay getting to and from Ferein to be particularly onerous, but then my chars dont really mind being stuck in Ferein all that much. |
