Shoutouts

We do this in another PW I play and would like to do it here as well. It is just a way to say thanks to people for some great RP or help. ((If I shouldn’t be doing this then feel free to delete it))
Shoutouts to:
Bennyhrsh (Elvalia), Trishy (Marcha), Drgrogs (Alarwen) and Arcane (AracnePaladin) for the RP outside of Buckshire. That was a great time, thanks.
Gasher_Bloodspuer for all the help your dwarf gave Juylina last night and the corresponding RP to go with it.
To the DM (sorry, for the life of me I can’t remember your name) that ran the quest with the Ronin Warrior a few nights ago, that was great, thanks.
To Ara and the rest of the builders, you guys have build an amazingly beautiful world.

Well it looks like I'm going to be a perment Vives member, Thain is shutting down. I know a lot you have accounts on Thain's forum and have ventured in a bit. I'd just like to give a shoutout to all the great times from Thain, both as a player and a DM.
And a shoutout to any of the people that listen to me and follow some of us over here. |

Shoutouts to Calmeir for Welcoming me to Vives and telling me about the wonders of Smithing. *thumbs up* Though I never though he'd get red hair, lose his hands, and end up marrying a Shadowdancing Guy... *shrugs*
Just as a note to anyone who might be wondering... Calmeir did -not- in fact get red hair etc... Veran is confused. Somehow he mistakes the shapely figure of my elven lady person Ana with my manly stud Calmeir. I'd like to give an ancient shout out to Jade Night, Gasher, Uncle Boffo (Grak), for being the original Emerald Order. I'd also like to give a shout out to SpaciousQ who really brought me into the game. When the interactions between Quies and Calmeir were going on, I was no longer playing a game, I was living another life, and only through SQ's amazing skills with language and emotion was that possible. Thanks! Oh, and thanks to the Vives team which continues forward! :) |

These "shoutouts" are a great idea. But I have no idea where to start. Hmm...
Well, Barnas for being the first player -and- DM to introduce me to what Vives was capable of. In terms of rp and story and total immersion. I will never forget a young Sirac being cornered by Friel in Midor crypts... *grins ruefully*
To all the players and DM's past and present that made my time here when I was just a player such great fun. Special mentions from that time have to go to Phoenix Dias aka Xaranthir/Pyrrha and Tuxedo aka Soapie Nimblefingers, two of the finest rp'ers its ever been my fortune to stumble across and both sorely missed.
And nowadays, well too many folk to mention. Both old and new, there are some truly amazing rp'ers out there. And I enjoy killing, torturing, maiming and emotionally traumatizing each and every one of you. dang, I mean DM'ing you all...always seem to get that mixed up! *grins* And its even better, when I actually get the chance to play with you lot!
A last shout out to Lytton. Who despite his unhealthy obsession with chickens and sheep, always manages to make me grin when RL or DM pressures get too high.
Finally, while delighted -if- all the Thain folk coming in recently are going to stay, personally I hope they dont. For the simple reason I would hate to see a PW like Thain, that has offered so much pleasure and absorption to so many, spoiled by RL considerations and by the arguments and "whining" that seems to so often spoil otherwise great rp communities. So I hope you guys dont lose your PW, but if you do...I honestly believe you will love your time here.

I dont think I can even start counting the people - so I'll just talk about the first things :)
The first PC I ever met was Roka starnipple - played by Neek.
Later on, I had my PC (Tom) fight over Jaina [played by Rachel] with Solus Mors [played by Romulus] - and it lead to my first DM event:
being teleported away at the wedding night. (that was ran by Fen)
That was the first *nods*
later on.. I had great times with so many people I cant remember..
so -
a shoutout to everyone I ever played with, DMed to, or DMed by.
another to everyone that built, scripted designed and wrote - everyone that makes Vives what it is.

I think that's because of the slow working poison that Sirac slipped into your drink... You see, it is slowly eating away at your innards and eventually you truly will simply be all mushy inside. Well at the moment there seem to be so many great RPers around that theres no time for fighting...
Glordong and Eerel are very funny, Kitty is hilarious.
I either love or hate every one of Wicked Artists dozen or more regular chrs.
Had some wonderfull and torrid times with Shalee.
And lianeth is the best partner/sidekick a meathead fighter could wish for.
Carlton is thankfully as stupid and imature as myself (love yer man) and my most remorable moments in vives seem to have involved either jand or callia
And the way Benny manages to be both; stuck up, uptight, upper class, man hating, uber bitch (love her), and ... thick as, urchin bred, infinately cuddleable, phoneticly challenged, halflass ...(love her); I'll never know. |

dang, I missed Solitare tonight :(, I'm sure our characters will meet soon enough.
Looks like Thain isn't going down after all, but I'm still going to play here more than I have been. Three nights in a row got me hooked.

I agree, there are many - all of whom I've had a great time with past and present and hopefully future.
One person I ought to mention though is my 'sister'.
Elvalia wouldn't be half the person she is without Bron, come to that nor would some of my other characters who hang around with her and her clones.

Oh, where to start?
I'll start at the beginning, I suppose, with Vandle and his adorable Trevor, for making Eliana's introduction and first ever adventure on Vives so much easier and very fun.
More recently, then.
Trish, for continually amazing me with both Cory and Macha. I think I live in awe of you.
Byron, for putting up with both Eliana and me on a regular basis, as well as creating that enigma wrapped in a contradiction that is not a paladin, and convincing Eliana that some things are worth it.
Glor, for being a genius with the technical end of NWN, giving me bits of disturbing information at random, and for playing Claudia, who Eli and I both <3 muchly.
Arcane, for being impossible, making me laugh, and making Eliana crazy.
Llewen/Glordong, for making me weepy.
Para/Eerel, for being a spastic wonder.
Dslayer/Kitty, for making me laugh and cry at once.
pdwalker, for the RP with Khalid, who Eliana is ridiculously fond of and thinks of often.
I would name everyone I've RP'd with if I could - I haven't seen a bit of bad RP since I've been here, and all of you are so wonderful to play with. |
