I was a level 1 dwarven fighter, fresh on my first quest. On my first combat <i>ever</i> i rolled a series of critical failures. I broke my weapon.
Thinking quickly, I drew my back up weapons (a good dwarf is always prepared) and swung. I rolled more critical failures, and broke my second weapon.
Ever get the feeling that you should have stayed in bed?

Kudos to the DM team for pulling off this event. Byron didn't get to participate much (I'm one of those people that can't donate a lot of time to Vives) but overall, it seemed like everyone had a good time.
I've never been one to like large groups. There is so much opportunity for character development that is lost when a large group gets together. The small interactions are what I like in roleplaying. The subtle looks, the gentle touch, the glances that speak volumes...these are some of ... |

I'm sorry, Sirac. I dind't mean to sound overly critical. But I suspect the general idea of my comments was recieved by you, so I appreciate that. I imagine coordinating DM's and playes is a difficult prospect at best. I'm not saying I know how to do what I was sayin.
