Top Ten indicators that you are addicted to Vives

1) You update your IRC log in name to inform people of when you’re at home, at work, eating, or commuting
2) You actually learn how to read elvish (dwarvish, gnomish, etc) OUTSIDE of the game.
3) You wear your brand new suit of plate mail the next time you go to Denny’s.
4) You just bought tickets to the next Macha Songsparrow concert on E-Bay. (Only $50 per seat! While supplies last!)
5) At your next work meeting, you bow to everyone, saying “Hail and well met.”
6) You become annoyed by that little thing that keeps interrupting your playing. What’s it called? Oh yeah, EATING!
7) Your boss gives you a warning for continually trying to role-play with your co-workers.
8) You bring a bastard sword to the grocery store “Just in case you run into those dang kobolds again.”
9) You call going to church “Talking on the DM channel.”
10) You wonder what those period of brightness are between evenings of playing until your roommate tells you it’s called daytime. |

I have said Shrugs and Grins in front of my friends..... Luckily they asked what I said again because they didn't think they heard me right, and I.... quickly changed it to something else.
Also.. my Girlfriend told me one time I sleptalked about Steelmaking.... But She's Always thought I'm weird.... I guess those are the Long term effects of spending so much time in those Mountains Mining and in the Smoky Forge.... Smithing and Pounding until .... wait... what am I saying. |

26. You have spent 445 hours in game in three months and five days.
27. You get annoyed and the thing that stops you playing called work.
28. you try to talk to your workmates about this great game and worry at there look
of horror the first time you say the word 'Spell'.
29. You take sick days to get the last 3,000 xp.
30. You have to think about going to your best mates Stag Night or playing Vives.
31. Your Dr and Shrink tell you that you cant cast spells (What are you looking at?)
32. Using emotes in text messages.
33. Dribbling. |

34. You have completely lost all concept of time or daily structure due to ten to twelve hour gaming binges.. on top of working..
35. Because of your wasted sleep schedule, you adopt a new calendar, one with a 36 hour day.
36. Assuming that now, since you have more time to get things done in the day, you can naturally devote MORE time to Vives, and inevitably ruin your sleep schedule again.
37. You start to tell yourself that you're just "not wanted" at work, so you opt to stay home, so you can play more Vives.
38. You begin to work your schedule around Vives events.
39. You speak commonly about Vives events with uninitiated friends, just assuming they know what you're talking about.
40. Your mom starts taking an interest in what you're doing and you proceed to give her a tour of the lands, showing off all the most gruesome and interesting monsters, and how to kill them. You know, as if she's taking notes for the future.
41. You keep a notebook (or several) nearby detailing all the relevant information you could ever want to know about CNR locations, monster locations, maps, quest information, interesting item spawns, successful dragon-slaying tactics, intriguing character concepts, and then seriously consider having your notes published as a strategy guide. |

47. You talk so dang much about the game that your girlfriend (who has never even heard of roleplaying and never stepped foot in Vives) would know her way around with her eyes closed.

*Actually its not true that she never stepped foot in Vives. She conducted a conversation for me whilst I was busy and got bloody RP xp!!!! I mean whats that all about. Never played anything like this before. RPs for 5 minutes and gets XP for it!!!! |
