Please use this thread to post a little bit of public knowledge about your PC(s). As per Kree's post, this thread is for newcomers to get an idea of whom some of the characters are in Vives.
Keep them short and sweet, a few tidbits of information that your character would be willing to share publicly, or perhaps might be floating around as rumors. Lets try and keep them under say 10 lines. And remember, ya gotta leave something for people to FOIG 
Lets also not clutter it with extra comments. One post per PC. |

Fri'el's a valley girl-like, insane, cleric. She's well known for leading armies of undead against the city of Midor, then getting busted. =p (I'm keeping that one really short because, to be honest, she's easy to find out about.)
Iretya's an Elven Archer. She's very quiet and doesn't like speaking in common- however, when she does speak she can get very forceful about her ideas.

Sirac Gerardson:
Human male, wiry and tall. Slight scar on face, obviously a very old wound. Very agile and graceful in movements. Red hair. Usually friendly manner. Lives in Midor, in Mabel's boarding lodge. Known for being lazy when it comes to anything approaching hard work. If you should see him hide, shadows seem to literally appear all around him and he (hopefully!) disappears from sight. Anyone with true sight or the like up when this happens can also see a shadowy figure of an older man who bears obvious facial similarities to Sirac standing at his shoulder, seemingly gathering the shadows about him. If Sirac is present when someone is being restored to life, or when someone is preaching about their god, he tends to wear a fairly pained expression.
Muga Bugbreath:
A huge hulk of a half orc. No human characteristics at all, looks very orcish...apart from the small matter of the large red scaled wings protruding from her back. On closer examination her skin seems to cover obvious scales, the outlines of which can just about be seen under the skins surface. Every now and then she undergoes a transformation where these scales fully materialise, and her eyes become a whirlpool of burning flames. Should be obvious IG when this happens though. She is startlingly attractive for an orc, but obviously takes no care of herself...though the fleas and lice she once was plagued with no longer bother her. Her breath is even more foul than it used to be, a mixture of sulphur and rotting flesh. Muga is known throughout the lands as the chief bodyguard of Ilyana Fiirhaart, the new high priestess of Naruth. And as a fearsome, and fearless warrior. She has an array of innate magical talent, but has never cast a spell in her life. Instead she uses belches and othersuch bodily functions to release her stored magic, and devours scrolls before belching forth their contained magic. |

Krael Feybane:
Dwarven male, red hair, and large build. Plenty of scars grace his body from battles past. Usually gracious and kind to other dwarves, and often disdainful and non-trusting of other races (especially elves - *hint* the name Feybane) Speaks -VERY- little common, though he is working on that to be able to better understand the rest of the world, and to make sure nobody is speaking about him behind his back. Currently Krael is on the leading edge of the movement to restore the dwarves to their past grandeur. Fairly new still around the halls, according to those that have lived there for ages, but his name is likely passed around.
Calmeir Kishraad:
Enjoys long walks through the woods, and is loo... Oops, wrong forum... Uhm, Calmeir is a human male, around his late twenty's now, with dark brown hair about shoulder length. He has experienced a harsh life, and has unfortunately let it practically destroy him. Those that used to know him, may remember a proud man that stood up straight and proper, and for a time was Knight Commander of the long past Emerald Order. He is no longer that man, and often sulks about still wearing his fine garb and armor. When he moves you can see the pain, as though each step is a forced action. His name is mostly forgotten except by those few of his friends that yet live. |

Calia Qu Estrael
An elven Priestess of Aros, she is about 136, has shoulder length light brown hair. She can be found wearing green armor with the symbol of Aros on it. She can be found running all over vives saving lives and gem cutting. She is the sister of Evermier Qu Estreal the mage.

Macha Sparrowsong
A half-elf bard, Macha wanders the land singing songs. She's told that she's famous, and though it's not something she would tell you, her songs are reportedly sung throughout the land. She has a sensitive, passionate nature and enjoys helping others.

Dekla is a human woman who is rather rough around the edges. She mostly keeps to herself, but will help anyone out...for a price. She tends to speak whatever comes into her head, and politeness and courtesy don't usually enter into her world. |

Kriayna Wildberry
Better known as Kree, an unusual half-elf, recognizable in her summersky blue, often seen with a twinkle in her eye, or a mischievous grin. Friendly to most anyone and fluent in multiple dialects she spends her time at the Broken Mask or roaming between the Port and Ferein. Curious by nature she just may have that information you need, or know the person you seek.
Rumors and opinions of her skills or associations vary widely, depending on where you are and who you ask.... |

High Priest of the Halls of Bregodim. His name may be heard when looking for answers on questions of lore or the history of Vives, especially dwarven matters, though it is rumored that his knowledge stretches far beyond the borders of his home within the Halls. Those of Midor remember him as an outspoken member of the Azure Lights. The elves of Ferein hear tales of him fighting the forces of Tarik with the elven warriors at the battle for the bridge. |

Well known Arms and Armor Smith, one of the last. Also one of the Finest swordsman in the lands. From Swashbuckling to Bladeforging to Heartbreaking, he has quite a non-stereotypical elven reputation. His Loyalties are to be the source of the largest confusion. Though it is said he has spent a lot more time in Ferein of late, and it is public knowledge that he has left the city of Midor, he has been seen talking privately to the likes of Blanche la Belle, Luther McIath, Sirac Geardson, Balthor Mountainhand, even the followers of Naruth. He has been caught several times consorting with Muga and Ilyana. His unparelleled prowess with his chosen blade, the rapier, is well known, and he is said to be without peer amongst swordselves. He is often dressed in light armor of fine looks, made of a mix of Leather and Link, and is known for wearing a large oversized quiver on his back((Think golfbag)), filled with over a dozen different blades, all of which he uses. His favorite blades, however, lie in different Various locations on his body. |

Ronan Aesir, Ranger of Latonei, follower of Aros, and beholden to Lirnna Virvaniyon . Peerless amongst men and most elves with a bow, Ronan draws from a assortment of specifically selected weapons to defend and champion those people and lands he cares most for. Ever-watchful for the encroachment of darker forces on his range, Ronan is most often seen, bow in hand, as a shadowy form scouting the hillsides and forests surrounding Latonei with the beatific and young Lirnna at his side. Theo Vanir, tall, dark and wholesome mage of mild repute, holding studies in Midor in the alchemical sciences. Rumours from behind his locked study are that he's nearing a breakthrough in the reliable creation of great healing potions. He currently seeks talented and gifted subjects, preferably blessed with great healing powers, willing to sacrifice their lives so that he may bottle their essence to complete his experiments.
Kurtis Bloh, dark, swarthy human male formerly of Paws, now residing in Midor. The very few that meet him won't fail to miss his aggressive, panther-like gait through the White City of Midoran. The cruel, backwards curve of the small, matching blades scabbarded tightly against his thighs belie his seeemingly bright smile and relative politeness of word.
Aren Aesir, the self-described Determined Man - and once depicted as the most hopeless romantic in all of Vives - he was last seen leaving Port Royale for the Buckshire Coast many months ago. Word is, he got lost while searching for himself.
And introducing...
A Dwarf. There's a new face bellowing at the bellows of the forge in the hallowed Halls of Bregodim, often seen travelling to and from Midor to make trade.
A Human. Little yet is known of this boyish, blonde-haired man last seen in Port Royale carrying a large bag of stuff. |

Solitaire
A pretty woman of 25 summers, auburn hair, dressed in plain robes and carrying a staff. A shy half-elf, usually seen in close proximity to her childhood friend Sirac Gerardson and Luther McIath. Her shyness is gradually leaving her, though some remember the days when she ran away rather than speak with anyone.
Rapidly becoming a powerful mage, although she does not see this herself, and will always say she still has much to learn. She is still seeking to complete her spellbook and will ask everyone she meets if they have found any scrolls that could be of use to her.
Always seeks to be the peacemaker, abhors conflict and will see the good in everyone without being fooled.
Most often found in the Midor Library, Ka'azim tower or her room at Mabel's boarding house.
Ilyana Fiirhaart
Recently appointed High Priestess of Naruth at the temple of Fiirhallen, Goddess of fire, beauty and fury.
A beautiful woman with dark red hair, pinned up so that it cascades around her face yet does not get in the way. Occasionally a shimmer of red scales appears across her skin, though you may not be certain you saw it.
She wears red plate mail that always shines and is studded all over with rubies. Generally armed with a flaming weapon in either hand.
Anyone speaking to her will find her charming and pleasant, or sneering and nasty; depending on who they are. She will not suffer fools. She will warn all from pillaging her temple on pain of great suffering, death if they are exceptionally lucky.
Most often found at Fiirhallen temple, her lodgings in the icy lands (to keep an eye on her enemy Helkris's followers) or across the lands with Muga Bugbreath and Soapie Nimblefingers.
There are rumours of many she has killed in her pursuit of her Goddess's favour, yet she has left no evidence behind her. Other rumours persist that she is a goodly person who likes dancing with butterflies, these she will deny hotly with a furious look on her face. |

Dina Isilme
An elf with a slightly greyish complexion, like that of a moonlit evening. A follower of Aros and agent of Ferein, she takes on many tasks, ranging from working with Strand of the Latonei Rangers to carrying out more official business for Ferein.

Mykal Vecar
A moderately handsome human with blonde hair and peircing blue eyes, Mykal is an obscure paladin of Midoran that has been assumed dead at the hands of Count Vallinor, the vampire lord of Maldovia. During life, he kept a small but close circle of friends, most of which were from outside of the Order of Midoran. Rumors have been circulating recently about a man looking like Mykal wandering around Port Royale and the Kobai desert. Such reports, however, have yet to be confirmed. |

Romulus
An old gnarled, somewhat withered gnome. While its unclear as to his true purpose, or beliefs, its obvious this gnome has seen quite strife, adventure, and a bit of misfortune. Having a somewhat energetic personality however, inspires Romulus to sometimes challenge what has, "Been written in Stone", which has led him into more trouble than he can sometimes handle. While few are solid believing he is a practicioner of Necromancy, he will outright deny it.......depending where he is. Romulus is now spending his time trying to 'help' victims who have died from the Trials of Midor, perhaps not knowing how many will react, or what these newly awaken men will do...or atleast, a few people have been mumbling...... |

Lirnna Virvaniyon
A young Elven maiden with unkempt silver hair, Lirnna is known for her boundless enthusiasm, fearless curiosity, and less than perfect mastery of the common tongue. She is fiercely loyal to her Lord Aros, Ferein, and to the many friends she holds dear. She is most often found in the company of her closeset companion, Ronan Aesir, or one or more other close friends. When on her own however, her curiosity and sense of adventure often lead her to dangerous places, and, it has been said, worry over what Lirnna may be up to is likely the prime cause of Ronan's remarkable level of hair loss.
Daedrianna Langoureth
Day is decended from a nomadic peoples who were driven from there home on the plains some years back when the land was overrun by Manticores and other beasts. She serves as Priestess, healer and keeper of lore for the remnants of her tribe, now far flung across Vives. Day herself is soft spoken, yet determined to aid those under her care. A follower of Vilyave, the Lady of the Winds, Day can be fierce and unpredictable in battle.
Keaira Nokomis
Little is known of this woman, but her apperance points to some sinister curse or blessing. Though otherwise beautiful, her skin is as grey as ash, and her eyes are black pools that stare with inhuman intensity.
Melchoir Von Ravenor
Physician and practitioner of the Arcare Arts, Melchoir resides in Midor, though he has not been seen since the recent turmoil in that city.
Elitharion Tuelairis
A distant relation to Lirnna Virvaniyon, Elitharion is a lesser Wizard of Ferein, and is seldom seen outside her borders.
Vahlah Kandaelis
Last of three sisters, the deaths of her twin sister Vaisha, and her elder sister Vallaesha weigh heavily upon her. She has not been seen in Vives these past few months. It is said she seeks solace in the Sea, the only the mother the three sisters ever knew. |

Alarwen Emeria
Alarwen is a tall, silver-haired, half-elven woman, usually found patrolling the wild places close to her home in the Mystic Woods. She is seldom seen without her companion, a large black panther named Jessminda. Although known as a Ranger and woodcrafter, it is said she has been studying the ways of magic and has acquired some skill as a Sorcerer and Arcane Archer. Consistent with her mixed blood, she is quite beautiful to the human eye, but somewhat coarse appearing to elves. She is very young for a half-elf, at about age 54.
Some from Midor will recognize Alarwen as the daughter of the well-known healer, Mercuriel Emeria (human), who often worked in the Midor Infirmary. Midorans who grew up with her (also now in their mid-50’s) will remember Ala as a loner. While she was still in school, many of her peers ridiculed her for her pointed ears. They learned quickly, however, that Ala was able to defend herself fiercely with both wit and fist.
Alarwen does not know who her (elven) father is. Her close friends know that she carries his bow, hoping it will lead her to him one day. She is also firmly devoted to Aros and to the protection of Ferein. She displays a deep humility and is extremely protective of her friends, risking any danger to help them.
Ala has been missing of late. She was last seen near her home in the Mystic Woods shortly after the first expeditions into Neth'aru took place. There is evidence of an infrequent visitor to her house and smoke has occasionally billowed from her chimney, but it is unknown whether the visitor is she or another. |

Evaramier Qu' Estreal
Brother to Calia, the righteous Cleric of Aros, Evaramier is a caring guardian; although often perhaps a little over-protective, causing great concern to poor Calia.
Evaramier is a Sorcerer of some standing and quite possibly a potential for even greater standing if only he would exercise a little caution in the face of danger. However, Evaramier's obscure sense of bravery is not only one of his greatest downfalls but together with his inner justice, is occassionaly one of his greatest qualities.
Rather curiously however, he does not see his sorcery as his greatest weapon but rather his silken tongue and quick thinking. A junior advocate of the Midoran courts, Evaramier often uses argument to achieve what he desires, most notably taking credit (with little modesty) for the surrender of Fri'el. |

Aloria ap Ravar
Raised in elven society, she was the shame of her parents for taiking off after wild elves and hunting orc raiding parties at a young age instead of courting elven nobles. He mother almost disowned her when she returned home one day with a wild elf war tatoo permenantly placed on her face by a wild elf shamman after she spent a whole month away from her home hunting a particular nastry orc tribe to their destuction.
She saw a vision of Aros at an early age, when she accidently came upon an enounter between a wild elf hero and Aros who was imparting the elven hero with a mystical bow. Since then she has loved Aros first and formost with a childish love.
Seldom known to take care of her personal beauty, Aloria's hair is often unkempt and falling all over her face. She has a pouty lustful face and often has a piercing unblinking gaze that makes the more civilized people a little more then uncomfortable.
A bit of an elven snob, Aloria see's elves as superior to all races, but also as their guardians.
Of late Aloria has become quite an accomplished treasure finder and carries a selection of magical items that she is willing to sell for a reasonable price. While many of these items are somewhat commonplace, many are among the more rarer items to be found.
Aloria has had a thing for Evaramier for quite some time, but the sophisticated mage seams more interested in his magics and discussions with important political figures to notice the affections of the wild and fierce elven warrioress.
Though Aloria prizes her solitude, she is known to be seen with her friends from time to time on some wild adventure, friends whom she thinks of more as family.

Alexendria Wolfsbane is a quite women who prefers the wilderness to the big nosey cities and towns. She loves to feel nature around her being able to speak with those of the forest. She is seen in the company of her Dire Wolf Cali who is the only other member of the pack left. She was raised by the wolves however her pack was killed off when those came to claim the land that was not thiers.
Right now she is lost in a city far from where she started taken there by horses with no way back to port royal. In time she hopes to find her way back to the calm forests she started. |

With a well-sturdy posture, a gaze that pierces through the darkest of truths, and a stubborn intelligence to get the job done, Valarien considers himself only a "humble swashbuckler." A well-mannered sea dog, with a charm to carve through any storm, he once held himself as a captain of a galleon. However now he is only but a captain without a ship, if that means anything.
A truly likeable sort, who would gladly buy any stranger a drink just to hear a tale of old, or even to tell one of his own. His trust however is not so easily bought.
His background and history, will always remain a mystery to others. For he holds it with great resentment. Who he will ever tell it to, he has still yet to see... |

Detric Steel
Detric is a middle-aged man, with one noticebly large scar running down the side of his face, the result of which haven taken his eye. He is seen dressed in dark leathers, having the look of a ranger about him, although he does not consider himself such, but rather a traveller. Having recently entered Port Royale via ship, he is constantly on the lookout to join a group for exploration of the surrounding lands.

Recently there have been sightings of a plain robed man wandering near the Fourwinds Inn and the outskirts of the nearby towns and villages. He looks somewhat familiar to folks who have ventured through the nearby woodlands and forests, as if they have seen him before, possibly from a distance. |

Juylina is a completely devoted cleric of Naruth, although she seems a bit lost as she has never spoken with Naruth or even Illyana and isn’t exactly sure about her direction. Instead, she has put her time into perfecting her beauty and learning her god’s weapon, the two-bladed sword. The only thing more important to her than Naruth is her own beauty.
As expected, she always tries to use her looks to get something for free, whether is a drink, a ship ride or a new suit of armour. She is overconfident in everything she does and never worries about any consequences, whether is it making fun of an unattractive female to trying to mess with Fri’el. |

Anandur
A paladin in service of Midoran, as of late he has kept a low-profile, preferring the calm and inspiring backgrounds. Although a paladin of some renown and well esteemed, some claim Anandur has recently (if sparingly) spoken against the actions committed by some of his Order.
Perhaps due to these statements an ill rumor has sprouted, which states Anandur is not a pure paladin from birth; his younger years tainted by a life as adventurer. And this mark is one not to be shunned lightly. Some daresay these members are the first to fall victim to those who will harm to both Midor and Midoran. Anandur, however is unimpressed by this news, not relenting in fulfilling his duties and oaths he has sworn.
Nonetheless, among his friends he is known as a calm, reasonable and objective man, one of an open mind, despite being part of an Order. |

Sluip Snailshell
A rascal at heart Sluip has trouble 'growing up'. Together with his infamous brother Sul, he combines wit and superb endurance with many antics as the two adventure through vives.
Their goal? Never certain.
Their gain? Oft nothing, save hurt pride and a row betwixt siblings.
Their motivation? Treasures!
Yes, they strive to acquire what is not yet theirs, maintaining a flexible definition of the phenomenon 'possession'. A family trait (and just about the only one) to boldly run where no Snailshell has gone before, after which a disgraceful retreat must follow, hopefully with a treasure of sorts... To preserve family pride pretty much anything qualifies as 'treasure' and thus over time Sluip has gathered quite the loads of 'curiosa'.
Not particularly concerned with the future and not having figured out what to do with all that junk, Sluip persists in his ventures with his brother. He claims he is the brain of the team, but Sul is the better runner.
Recent developments: Both Snailshell brothers have gone MIA for a while now. Brandibuck's finest herald of the brothers' intention to unlock the secrets of the dwarven race. After which they set out towards 'Giant mountain' and have not been seen since. |

Shaz'jen Direth
Whenever there is serious trouble, nearly always on the edges watches a familiar figure, dressed in black robes and leaning upon an ivory staff. Sometimes he disappears for weeks on end, sometimes one can never be rid of him. He is, of course, Shaz'jen Direth.
Quietly enigmatic and smug with it, Shaz'jen is quite capable of saying plenty but revealing nothing - and taking great pleasure in the fact that no one else knows what he's talking about. Whatever degree of smugness he is extruding at the time, he is always infallibly polite and well mannered. On rare occasions however, Shaz'jen seems irate and ill-tempered; at others he seems almost despondant and world-weary.
Shaz'jen is quite obviously of elven build, although he is quite thin and slender. The accent in his voice is most certainly not elven however, and has a strange sinister bent to it. When asked about what he is, he always smiled calmly and replies "Elven. Mostly." A good many people have a good clue about what the 'mostly' is; as for the rest Shaz'jen is growing weary of the speed at which people are finding out.
On the whole, few people are certain of which side Shaz'jen is on. He certainly keeps his true intentions in any of his games to himself. He has been known to deal with shady figures in the past and has admitted ' mutual benefits' in his dealings with the Atalan. In the long run however he appears to have the interests of Vives at heart. With Shaz'jen however, appearances are rarely what they seem.
In older times Shaz'jen was a notorious figure in Midor. In recent times the Midorans seem to have forgotten him and he takes this as quite the slight. Whether he'll do anything to rectify that remains to be seen... |
