| Just want to give a shoutout to all those who were involved with Juylina's talk in Fiirhallen. It was great fun and thanks to everyone who came. |

Thanks for hosting it! I feel it was a real opportunity for Nevron to shine :D *shameless self admiration*
I think everyone did a good job, you could sit back and listen and try to find out who's a good guy, bad guy or somewhere in between by their responses to Juylina's explenations´. |

Ran into Marrya, Laura and Tomi in Port Royale today hiring low level players to do crafting chores. Maybe it happens all the time and I don't see it, but I thought it was groovy, a model of how crafting and RP and players of different levels all go together. It was like, "Line 'em up and she'll put 'em to work."
Even though there are plenty of games of fetch for low level folks around Port Royale and Buckshire, this kind of sociality with other players is still the best. Kudos!

| A shoutout to all the great RPers here that I have been fortunate to meet so far. I'm not going to name names, because everyone has done a good job; I wouldn't want to unintentionally leave anyone out. Thanks to the Vives community in general. |

| Shoutout to Tamer. After reading a few of his posts, I understand a little more what happened, and I look forward to running into him again. Despite my 50+ hours on Vives, (they have all come in the last couple of weeks), I have very limited experience with PW roelplaying, so I certainly didn't expect his "affliction" to be generated by a PC. (I thought it was some DM generated quest, and was rather disappointed at the end that I didn't get any "quest xp"). Read my tale from the Four Winds Inn if you want to see what happened. |

Two separate occasions, two different sets of players.
Firstly Brendyn, who was caught unawares and found himself not long after joining in some very exalted company and played beautifully, some of the best roleplaying I've seen in a while and a genuine pleasure, I hope the reward was worth it.
Secondly, Cora, Marrya and Tomi, who learned it's not always wise, whatever your feelings about elves, to wander throuigh Ferein speaking them out loud - especially if you're there to do a little 'shopping'. Great fun folks. |

A quick (or not so much so) shoutout by myself:
To everyone on the Northern Highway today with the zombie commoners, particularly Sir Render. I must say Render, that was some top-notch RP you had going there, and had me fearing for my poor raven's life :o I was very pleased by how well you played the Paladin of Midoran type As a quick tip: Click players portraits and send a tell for OOC things [Which is usually said in a double set of parenthesis (( ))]. But really top notch stuff :D I know you might have been frustrated by how much people despised your character, but sadly, most knights of Midoran are mis-understood :x |

| Thanks Ranger, for trusting me with the seeds of a great new storyline. I'll get it out as soon as I can in the forums and IG, so that people can get off the crafting dole and go to work on something big! |

Oh, and belated thanks to St. Raven for the (many now) RP opportunities. Always great fun! |

Shoutout to Zahn Mahetna, for being one of the coolest characters I have ever seen.
Also major props to Imperious, for being a conscientious RPer and a first-rate poster, and Robber Baron, for RPing some tricky interpersonal issues and addiction well.
One final shoutout to Telli Thunden for being ridiculously hard to hit and always willing to participate in a plan where she's the bait. :)
Thanks DMs for giving me more RP xp in two months than I have ever received on other servers. It's appreciated!

Re: Shoutouts Posted: 10 Jan 2006 10:51 PM |
Been on Vives since May of last year, and I can't remember when there's so much great writing and posting on the website...
I've been completely swamped at work for the past week or so, and probably won't be able to get on much until February. But it's been a pleasure to read about all the storylines going on right now, and a nice way to keep in touch with what's going on in IG...of course, it's also makes me insanely F@$@#$@# jealous that I don't have the time to play...
Keep it up, and maybe this way I won't be completely lost when I finally have some time...

Re: Shoutouts Posted: 11 Jan 2006 09:46 AM |
This is for Oragastus, who's eccentric mage endured a whole day of Dana.
Despite the fact we both had two 'close calls' with death, the day was both comedic and serious in equal measure, as two kindred spirits discovered each other. At the end we both agreed it had been a good day, and featured one of the most hilarious double deaths ever seen on any server anywhere. I wish I had a screenie.
A great day, made better by an awesome RP'er |

Re: Shoutouts Posted: 11 Jan 2006 06:15 PM |
| Thank ya. I admit that was definetely one of the funnest days I've had on the game. It was looong day and I was laughing the entire time from "What happened? How'd you die?... and why is there a cow standing over you?" to new *coughs* business ideas. In which a shoutout is definetely deserved to Glor-an-fhaidha and Bkatt for a hillarious discussion at the fire. Had a blast :) |

And I must now continue with the same thought. Thanks for both Oragastus and Dana for some hilarious dialogue, I always love to play with the more goofy characters! I wish you luck with your horse urine stew and eye patch/sling endeavours. Laughed out loud on occasions.
And an additional thanks to Oragastus for a fun trip through the desert, would have loved to continue it a bit further. I wouldn't mind RPing with you guys every day. |
