Re: Favorite Vives moments? 1/22/2010 12:44:29 PM   (Total replies: 1)
I finally removed 1.68 from my computer because I needed the space so I doubt I'll be back any time soon, sadly enough. Not like I have time to play much anymore these days... So many great moments on Vives. However, for my money, the Midoran plot is one of the finest/most intricate/most interesting plots I've ever run across in any server. Probably the reason I've never stayed incredibly long on any other server is that I've never found anything that came close to duplicating that....ah, ...

<quote>...standing up to Vidus Khain in his office</quote> If I recall correctly, I believe the more accurate description would be "being five seconds away from dying in Vidus Khain's office"

Been on Vives since May of last year, and I can't remember when there's so much great writing and posting on the website... I've been completely swamped at work for the past week or so, and probably won't be able to get on much until February. But it's been a pleasure to read about all the storylines going on right now, and a nice way to keep in touch with what's going on in IG...of course, it's also makes me insanely F@$@#$@# jealous that I don't have the time to play... Keep it up, and ...

Despite the exhaustion, gotta do this now so I can remember everything clearly: Thanks to Lucius, Macha and Rosen for some terrific RP tonight: Lucius -- it's been great to see your character actually grow and evolve, and your journal is great...keep it up. Macha, thanks for proving that you can have an understated and relatively quiet (or maybe I just haven't been around her enough??), but still complex and fascinating character, and that listening in NWN is an art all to itself that ...

Not to pile on (too late), but yeah, big shoutout to Xaranthir, etc. for the wackiness...to GMs for their typical general evilness (Evility? Evilosity?)...and to Ulalume and Rosen for being the perfect straight men (women, knights, etc)...Since Ced is typically so dang serious all the time, it was nice to go over the top... By the way, Phoenix, I think my Purple Paladin Shuffle is infiintely superior to the Purple Badger Boogie...a dance-off may be needed!!!

A couple of really good conversations made me realize I haven't shouted out lately, so here goes: -- to T'mok or Timik, great stuff talking with Ced...your character's kinda a pain in the butt (which I like), is dramatic (which I like) and sticks to his guns (which I really like)...glad we got a chance to speak at length..... -- to Vulpina, for the nice "breaking the ice" conversation a few nights back, although I think we're talking about an iceberg here....very enlightening though, and ...

Major shoutouts to those who hung in there for the "rescue" tonight, despite some really bad lagging....Lucius, Yggs, Vrodo, Ayreon (ack, spelling?), Karlina, Allan....good stuff, good party dynamics....always a fun time when the number of bodies you're carrying equals the number of people still alive in the party (5)....

Shoutouts to Ophelia, who absolutely infuriates Cedrcyh (though he'd never show it) everytime they talk....when will that @#$@#$# half-orc get some common sense and just listen to him!?!?! ;) And Shoutouts to everyone who was in IRC while we waited in vain for Cecil to get working. What better way to kill the hours waiting to play Vives than by shooting the breeze with your fellow players and evil GMs? Rob, I hope the cake turned out okay, even with the bugs. Eli, I hope the driving ...

I didn't want to clutter her recent "That's All Folks" post, but huge shoutouts to Marlena for the play, or rather just Act I... My first reaction was "holy @@$@#$@#$@# cr@#$@#$@#$p!!!!!" ....amazing work...I bow to your efforts and dedication....

Shoutouts to all ya'll that I've gotten a chance to meet since Ced has returned. I've really enjoyed getting to know you (or in some cases, re-know) and having some great RP. This includes, but by no means limited to, Tristian, Emma, Shard, Luther, Byron, Fenn, Sylune, Ophelia, Cora...bah, even Frie'l. Plus, I know there are many whom I'll probably never get to know well as Cedrych, but it's fun to interact with nevertheless....maybe one day Bel and Ced will talk, but I'm not exactly ...
