Should've been a Wizard, they're much better

Animals, Beasts or Magical Beasts can often have true seeing, usually related to them seeing things differently to people.

The offer of a bonus to spot and listen is one i've grown to like. There are other issues though, like how high hide and listen can be taken to, no idea what it's like in Vives (I haven't tried a stealthy character in Vives yet) but I know that in most circumstances there are more ways to raise your Hide and Silently skills than there are ways to improve your Spot and Listen skills. Generally I'd agree with See Invis and Clairaudience. Unfortunately you can't change what monsters get with ...

We tried so hard and go so far, but in the end.... nevermind... anyway, you've already stated that people will move onto newer things, and if they do they'll probably find that others have moved to there as well. So really the cycle just repeats itself.

I think some of the feats and spells are very nice reasons to upgrade, not to mention the usefulness of some of the PrC's.

<quote>Discussion carried over from IRC, as per request. If the spell were to be done "properly", then this would be the result. A cleric with the spell cast would be able to see onto the ethereal plane. This is moot here, but would be a real spoiler for anyone trying to sneak past ethereal. However, the Cleric would be able to see a nimbu of alignment aura around your PCs location. Not only would this tell the cleric you were there, but would also tell said cleric your PCs alignment. ...

Just thinking, would be nice if True seeing did act more like it did. What if it actively dispelled illusions around you, granted you immunity to illusion spells and for completeness granted Ultravision... okay so it now effects others as well - so they can see, but it lets people hide... or is it just a little bit excessive and OTT?

The familiar speaking thing... 11/21/2003 9:19:36 AM   (Total replies: 1)
Just wondering where you got the material from, is there somewhere where we can download it?

Ah thankyou.

Good question, some people don't like the "cheese" factor. Psychic powers especially can run down a whole hoarde of issues, the fact that they aren't psychic for one thing, then there's reading other's mind (or descriptions) and getting IC facts off it. Pigeons and messengers I'd say were okay, Mindspeak - well there are spells for that sort of thing and as for talking to people who are just off screan, it should be okay...
