Hordes of the Underdark

Just an update for all of you on HotU. In the US it's to be released on December 5th. I don't see us having fully integrated HotU until the end of December. So, the Vives server will not be upgrading until the new year. So, if any of you celebrate a holiday in late December/early January that involves the exchange of gifts, now might be a good time to plant the seed and start asking for it.

This "Grace" period will also enable the builders to work on updates too as regards critters/areas/items/crafting incorporation/Quests etc etc so when we do go live with the update......... it means HOTU things WILL be in game.
It's pretty pointless updating if nothing bar feats and spells are in game...... imho.
As Q mentions above it does take time to "sort out" what a new Bioware update does with us at Vives, due to the large amount of custom scripting etc we have..... it's quite a task!

That's why we love you scriptors! Some of us are lacking in that sense.  Well, thanks for clearing that up. Now we can all have spiffy cool HotU stuff. I wonder Vives'll look like after it's updated to HotU... |

As a side note: We will most likely go to the patch that accompanies HOTU...... this will mean players with and without it will be able to play until we go live (when you will need a copy).
As was the case with SOU, those who have it will be able to access the new feats etc etc...... (those who don't won't).

I got four other pretty good reasons to update to HotU other than because of spells and feats :P
1) Wings.
2) Tails.
3) Robes.
4) PC heads with long hair. |

You cant have wings or a tail on char models, Only for the npc people you make in the tooset. Only thing you can do that'll get you wings is to be a Dragon Disciple. |
