*a small grin comes across the darkly shadowed man's face, barely noticeable*
*he walks to the front door of PAJWT and pins a weathered note that reads "Jessup" on front*
"maybes Jessups calls fer me soons, I needs sum works"
*As the sun hits his face, Molo smiles and turns back to the shadows* |
| 2. | Some ideas upon returning to Vives.... Posted by kingcorky on 7/17/2005 3:36:29 PM SO I have just returned from a long away journey, and I love the fresh look of the world. After playing for a week or two, I have some ideas that im sure someone else has stated or thought of but I want to also put them here.
First, upon returning I have noticed a few things, We still do not get more than ten to fifteen people at a time playing. This is I believe our biggest problem. Now I may just be kicking a dead horse here, but I love this world, but it is really boring to play ... |
| 3. | Re: Some ideas upon returning to Vives.... Posted by kingcorky on 7/22/2005 12:07:20 PM Actually, a dm run NPC is always better!! Those have been the times when I have actually seen a bit of DM intervention.
As I state this, I will say that I am not on as much as some people are. Also I live on the west coast, so a majority of my play time is late night, 9pm for me, which means most people are gone.
You know I just love the server and I am constantly trying to get more people to join, because hunting by yourself is very dangerous, and really horrid when you ... |
| 4. | Please Help Molo Get Back Posted by kingcorky on 2/28/2005 8:35:15 PM OOC: First, this is kingcorky who usually plays Molo, and two other smaller named chars, and when I was playing I put in some good times with the like of Pick, Gene, Kree, and this wild crazy big guy named Chief I believe my registration for your server is under kingcorky or molokai
Ok, so here it is, for the past three or four months I have been extremely busy, and have moved to a new house ... |
| 5. | Re: Please Help Molo Get Back Posted by kingcorky on 3/2/2005 9:30:20 PM OOC:
HAHA, ok lets see, if I remember right, you made me a set of armor for a weapon in trade?
Deals still good, just connect with me in game. |

| 7. | Re: (none) Posted by kingcorky on 7/12/2004 2:50:50 AM *molo lays back in the shadow as he notices the on coming black winged creature heading right at him*
*molo extends a hand so the bird may land* *molo takes the note from the birds beak and begins to unfold it and read*

| 9. | Return of the...... Posted by kingcorky on 11/12/2004 2:42:43 PM Out from the shadows of Port Royale, a young hlafling is noticed stalking a vendor, as the light hits his face, it can be told that Molo has returned from his journeys. The streets will never be the same again. |
| 10. | Re: Pick and Jess's Wild Tours Posted by kingcorky on 1/9/2004 11:56:10 PM Did it, died, was still fun. Pick's a great lead |

*molokai posts a note for Luther*
Dear Luther, I am in need of one of your lion bags, but I am not sure where to get the flasks you require. Please let me know if I can acquire one of these bags from you. Thank You and Farewell

| 13. | dreaming of Tanning and Tailoring Posted by kingcorky on 8/3/2004 5:20:47 AM Ok, here is some more dreams, first, I wish that tanning acids were corrected so when you use them you receive an empty flask, not a vile. They are made with flasks but give viles, makes it hard to replenish them without getting tinkering.
Secondly, the book of patterns. I have looked everywhere, and now unless I am blind, I cannot find them at all.
Also, if we could have maybe an npc who atleast offered cloth patterns or a book of patterns in Midor, maybe at ... |
| 14. | Re: Proposed New Travel system Posted by kingcorky on 8/1/2004 10:29:45 PM Well first off, this sounds friggin awesome already. This idea is really a great and creative idea to add to this world. Maybe the shipbuilding could be for really high level carpentry, since it would be a woodworker who would actually have to build the ship.
Adding mapmaking, treasure hunting, and sailing to this game would make it unreal, maybe we could do fishing also :)
As for a quick fix, I would make the ships of midor and port royale have scheduled departures ... |
| 15. | Re: fate's path moves ever onward Posted by kingcorky on 7/25/2004 5:21:41 PM Molo stops upon hearing the news, *looks to the sky and sheds a tear*
"be wells kree, hopes ta sees yas agains"
Molo disappears back into the shadows. |
| 16. | Re: Alosynth Leaving Posted by kingcorky on 7/23/2004 6:46:46 PM This is too bad, Thank You Alo for all of your help if I don't get to catch you again. You were a great help, thanks again man |
| 17. | A Smashing Bad Time Posted by kingcorky on 7/23/2004 2:43:42 PM The day was cold, and the lands were scarce of any citizens. At the Midor gates, a small rogue stands off in the distance, watching, noting, sizing up the idea. He slides down the wall, slowly, methodically, always moving towards the opening. Both guards stand clueless to his attendance. Sliding through the gate, Molo quickly sneaks into the town of Midor. Once inside, he is in horror to find so many guards walking the streets at night. "dis is gonne be bads" he says as he slowly ... |
| 18. | Dreaming Again...... Posted by kingcorky on 7/12/2004 2:57:24 AM So, I was dreaming again when I was doing some tanning and I had a thought.
Buckshire Trading Post needs to be changed into a serious post. Include all types of crafting systems, with supplies. The one store at the post that has the dye's should have everything, a weaponsmith, an armorsmith, a tanner, a tinker, an alchemist, and so on. If there was one place that all the crafts could work, then the economy would really pick up for hand crafted items. Also, the prices for everything ... |
| 19. | Re: Merum's Roleplayer of the week Posted by kingcorky on 2/1/2004 4:31:15 AM Congrats guys, I know they have RP influenced me in the game, and their tours are the best. so Congrats again

| 20. | Dreaming Posted by kingcorky on 6/26/2004 7:51:01 PM So, after playing a few characters here in vives over a period of time, I have begun dreaming of how to make this world better to me, and here is what came to mind.
1. First, I think the death system should be changed. I have played on some HCR servers, and the main thing that comes from perma death and ressurection damage is that people are more in tune to do things in town, and roleplay. I dont want a HCR style of death, but I do believe that making it impossible to resurrect ... |
| 21. | Re: Dreaming Posted by kingcorky on 6/27/2004 3:13:44 PM To Veran, what can really be more harsh than your player dying forever? Losing experience or maybe one level has nothing on actually having to start over from level 1. Just a thought though. |
| 22. | Re: Dreaming Posted by kingcorky on 6/27/2004 11:45:45 PM Yeah, I can see the point about discouraging people from exploring, but really it will only discourage them from traveling alone or hunting alone, but on this server, when there is usually less than 20 people in the big world of vives, it would discourage people actually.
Alo I will pass those quests to you, they are mainly just some people names, a story, and some ideas about what should happen. Im trying to make quests that will involve different races and paths, so goods can be ... |
| 23. | Re: More Housing Posted by kingcorky on 6/7/2004 2:27:55 PM Can you say nervous wreck, ran my little halfling butt from brandibuck to buckshire in ten minutes to check my chest, to make sure I didn't lose everything, thanks for the scare Alo!!
Actually you answered my question about re-renting rooms and not losing my items. Thanks |
| 24. | Re: More Housing Posted by kingcorky on 6/7/2004 2:29:57 PM and to mr veran, don't be picking on me cause Molo still owes ya some weapons, its not my fault he is lazing and busy tinkering to find Daimon his rapier. |
| 25. | Re: More Housing Posted by kingcorky on 6/9/2004 2:18:01 AM well then you can make your own rapier, that works out nicely for the both of us :) |
