| 1. | Re: BLOODY RAMPAGE IN MIDOR!!!! Posted by Shanara on 11/13/2004 5:40:56 PM Thea giggles, "Midor is such a silly city. They don't like elves and elves are so nice. I really like their pointy ears. *tries to think hard* But it is pretty, except for that big, silly statue. Who is that anyway?" *giggles* |
| 2. | Re: HakPak Requests Posted by Shanara on 12/20/2004 2:28:23 PM Well, after reading some of vampire TDA book, i thougt of making a new vamp race for nwn and vives, and i made a script for such, the bad point, is that camps are too hard for me to make (this was my first script) so i just made some widgets for lycentropes..
the main idea is that these are items that DM's will give to lycentrope PC's so they will be able to turn into the hybrid form and the normal form of their animal, you just activate the ... |
| 3. | Re: New Vives Screenshots Posted by Shanara on 11/3/2004 10:56:36 AM Those are great screenshots.
Shalee wonders if she can get a copy of her wedding since she forgot her own camera...hehe.
Actually, thanks for taking those shots. I never seem to remember to do that. |
| 4. | Re: Attention: Sol is one year older Posted by Shanara on 8/24/2005 9:21:54 AM Happy Birthday, Sol
*throws birthday confetti* |
| 5. | Re: Roleplaying death and resurrection Posted by Shanara on 8/31/2005 10:03:25 AM Or having your pc's body unceremoniously dropped on a cold hard floor by whoever is carrying you so they can fight monsters.
*eyes Sheikh Ferox*
It was pretty funny - poor Tia - so bruised from that. |
| 6. | Introduction Posted by Shanara on 2/4/2006 1:07:31 AM Well not sure where to post this....
tried to log on as a 7th level character I had and it wouldn't let me. When I tried to enter the Four Winds, it told me to view the introduction but the introduction said it was for only new characters.
So did I miss something? |
| 7. | Re: Oy, the heads be missing Posted by Shanara on 8/16/2005 1:17:48 PM That explains it. Thanks. Now, to not spam I'll throw in an entirely unrelated question. Do you guys LETO characters for appearance, or anything of the sort? I'd like the pure black for my PC's hair, but it's not selectable during creation... nothing even close to black was, actually, I ended up with red. I hate that.
And there's a problem with redheads?
*clears throat* |
| 8. | Re: A couple of questions Posted by Shanara on 7/25/2005 1:55:19 PM Vives was the very first time I rped. I can say for a fact you will be welcomed and don't worry about making mistakes. We all started out new. If you get out there and meet people and watch other players you'll pick it up and it won't be long before you'll develop your own style of rping.
Of course my characters always take me over. *grumbles something about characters not behaving and doing what they're suppose to do* Also, don't be afraid to ask other players if you have ... |
| 9. | Re: Daimon for Mayor! Posted by Shanara on 11/9/2005 1:14:41 PM "Daimon for Mayor? Is he crazy?" Shalee shakes her head with a grin, "Now I have seen it all."
*signs her name on the petition in a delicate handwriting, then walks away laughing lightly*
"Why not?! Chandler will get a kick out of this." |
| 10. | Re: Tia - Prayers and Doubts Posted by Shanara on 8/31/2005 12:26:01 PM Tia sat on the hill outside the Four Winds, her mind playing over what Connavar had said to her. The gods would not interfere with Syn, it would be up to the mortals to deal with this. She wanted to aid in the fight but felt helpless and unsure. Many times she took a shortcut through Bloodwood from Brandibuck to the beautiful clearing where she gathered aloe for her healing kits. The dark wind that blew through the woods frightened her, but she was only on the edge of the Bloodwood, safe ... |
| 11. | Re: Tia - An Answer on the Wind and Renewed Hope Posted by Shanara on 8/30/2005 11:24:27 AM The wind sighs causing Tia to suddenly stop and turn. She lifts her head as it swirls around her reassuringly and a soft melodic voice full of sadness speaks in her mind.
My child ....... I did not know what would come to pass that day. We all realized simultaneously the damage that was being done. I protected those on the ground from the onslaught of the magics of my terrible sisters ... yet it was not enough and at the same time it was too much. Vives will heal in time ...... ... |
| 12. | Tia - Prayers and Doubts Posted by Shanara on 8/29/2005 11:48:25 PM Tia sits quietly listening to the whispering of the wind, her eyes follow the graceful flight of a hawk as it sails above her. Her usually bright smile hints of sadness. Her voice is as quiet and gentle as the soft breeze that plays with her hair and warms her cheeks.
My Lady of the Wind,
I heard your voice, saw your vision and for the moment I was happy for you. But now I walk in sorrow. Guilt and unhappiness assail me, despite what protection you tried to ... |
| 13. | Re: Lara Posted by Shanara on 8/18/2005 8:13:43 PM A raven perched on the tree above them watching. One call and it was gone as swiftly as it had come. Lara looked at the three humans standing with her. They had noticed the raven but seemed to dismiss it out of hand. How foolish humans were. Why the raven and why to a group such as these. Lara did like Mikaylin, she at least seemed to have some intelligence, but she didn’t think much of the other two. Still they would not know that, and perhaps the raven was an ill omen for them. That would be ... |
| 14. | Re: Lara Posted by Shanara on 8/20/2005 9:29:03 PM The arrogance of elves, the intolerance of humans, the silliness of halflings….what race was without flaw? She thought perhaps she shouldn’t have followed the others although she had been intrigued by the winged half-orc. Lara was glad now she did. She pretended to sit through their silly game of truth and dare without knowledge of what was happening. It was highly amusing to see the fickleness, vanity and arrogance of their hostess though Lara had little doubt the woman could be a very ... |
| 15. | Re: Lara Posted by Shanara on 8/23/2005 10:37:16 AM Lara had stared down fascinated yet horrified at the gnome. She had never seen so much blood, the female’s wounds open and raw, soaking the ground red. A group standing around the gnome. Then the green haired male had approached her speaking elven asking her for help; to go to the sacred grove and fetch the druid. Later, Lara learned his name was Norran. The night seemed to last forever as she waited for the boat and then her frustration at the druid’s refusal to come, giving her instructions ... |
| 16. | Lara Posted by Shanara on 8/16/2005 12:14:19 PM Lara stood on the edges of the group outside the Fourwinds Inn, playing her usual cautious role all the while laughing to herself. It was so easy to fool most others, especially humans. They were generally, as a race, stupid and gullible. If she had any doubts about that, all she had to do was remind herself of all the humans following after those priests in red. Righteous Swords, she heard someone call them. Followers of Midorian. Such foolishness.
And her own mother, taken in by ... |
| 17. | Re: Lara Posted by Shanara on 8/17/2005 2:13:48 PM Lara had stepped out of the infirmary where Gwar had supposedly carried her after she had fallen to the gypsies to suddenly realize where they were. Her heart seemed to stopped as the realization struck home – Midor. She knew this city of fools hated elves and felt little love for half-elves, and though she wasn’t sure how they felt about half-orcs she could pretty well guess. Once she had calmed, it had amused her to tell Gwar they were in a city of meanies (it was so hard not to laugh ... |
| 18. | Re: Need help now Posted by Shanara on 8/29/2005 11:09:09 PM I have the same problem as well as crashing.
So if you come up with a solution, let me know. Please! |
| 19. | Hurricane Katrina Posted by Shanara on 8/31/2005 10:54:07 AM I just wanted to ask that all of you keep the victims of Hurrican Katrina in your thoughts and your prayers. I have several friends with family members in New Orleans. |
| 20. | Re: Hurricane Katrina Posted by Shanara on 8/31/2005 11:20:02 AM Sorry for the double post, but I just learned that Alabama is without power. Five of my husband's Aunts and Uncles and their families live there. Several are in very poor health. Please keep them in your thoughts. |
| 21. | Re: Problem with potions Posted by Shanara on 8/30/2005 10:35:38 AM I'm just waiting for Alton to turn himself into a chicken again. *grins* |
| 22. | Re: Problem with potions Posted by Shanara on 8/30/2005 1:25:12 PM Johe turned to a chicken and I missed it? Oh darn.
*makes a mental note to herself* |
| 23. | Re: Nearly Headless... Merfew? Posted by Shanara on 8/26/2005 1:02:15 PM Help....I've tried several times with Merfew's help (Thanks so much) to get the heads to work. PCs and some NPCs are still headless.
Any ideas or suggestions would be much appreciated. And I followed Fictrix's instructions. Hhmm...wonder if that's the problem. *grins* |
| 24. | Re: Nearly Headless... Merfew? Posted by Shanara on 8/27/2005 11:35:52 AM Thanks.
Everyone seems to have heads again. *grins*
Now if I could just do something about the crashing. My luck I probably deleted something I shouldn't have in trying to fix the heads. |
| 25. | Kudos Posted by Shanara on 8/18/2005 9:24:29 AM I just wanted to say that when I first joined Vives I was amazed at the beauty of the world. Now that I'm back after a break from it - I am blown away. It is absolutely uncanny the feel I get when my characters walk through the woods around the Four Winds Inn. And Ferein is just gorgeous. I spend so much time now just walking the world finding all the new things (getting lost a lot since it's changed so much. *grins* ) and just enjoying the beauty of it. Kudos to Ara and the builders.
