105 - Answering a question that was put to you four hour ago, as if it had just been asked. (I do that a lot, always have)
106 - Wondering if you can re-create that death scenario again, cos it was bloody funny!
I'm not addicted, i'm normal! :P |
| 4. | Re: What's Your Character's Theme Song? Posted by Moon on 1/27/2006 6:44:29 AM Well I don't listen to music either when playing, ok, I do but rarely. However if I were to pick a theme tune for Moon, it would be 'The Streets Of london' by Ralph McTell. Dunno why, guess moon is kind'a lonely away from her clan...but mainly because I like it, and what I like they are stuck with!
Have you seen the old man In the closed-down market Kicking up the paper, with his worn out shoes? In his eyes you see no pride And held loosely at his side ... |
| 5. | Boat trips Posted by Moon on 1/13/2006 6:26:28 PM I noticed a while ago that the ships have changed a tad. Once on board, I noticed that there are a few small trannys on the boat edge that go to places like buckshire, Ferein, Lake Ladriel and port Royal. Well tonight I got on the boat and it was going to PR, but I wanted to go to ferein, so i took the tranny from the boat there. I got as far as the path of Aros and suddenly I am dragged back and am standing in Port Royal. The other week I wanted to go to PR, the boat was taking it's time ... |
| 6. | Re: Boat trips Posted by Moon on 1/14/2006 10:29:57 AM OK, so those exits are EMERGENCY exits. Sorry, but it is not normal for me to examine a transition. (Unless that tranny is on a doorway, and perhaps the doorway is locked.... )
As since the use of them was for emergency only...why on earth did you add four exits? (that's just me being curious, cos if I was stuck, I wouldn't care where I ended up so ling as I got OFF the boat. One emergency exit ... |
| 7. | Re: A great and unexpected "event." Posted by Moon on 11/29/2005 8:24:34 AM Yes, thank you True Darkness for last nights event. It was fun, and you played the greedy old codger very well indeed! :P |

For a long time she locked gazes with Byron, not aggressively, but intently, as if searching for the truth in his words. Finally she tilted her head, shoulders relaxing somewhat, her voice deep and thoughtful as she spoke.
" I waited and plotted for years to escape the darkness that is Hard Knott, I do not fear the light, but welcome it, as the crops welcome the rain. You speak of an oath, one to last as long as my body lives. That is much to ask, when I do not understand ... |
| 9. | Seeker searches for the truth, and applies to become a Herald. Posted by Moon on 11/23/2005 5:42:52 PM She stood just to the side of the doorway, her light amber eyes fixed upon the one called Byron, the leader, the speaker of words.

| 11. | Re: Overrides Posted by Moon on 3/15/2006 5:13:17 AM
Also I have been told that alot of files in your override can cause some lag. I have quite a few now and it hasn't affected me yet.
I have been informed (correctly?) that having lot's of stuff in your override causes lag on the Server side. Some PW's have banned their players from having anything in their override folders. So my guess is that a busy server with a great number of ppl with their override folders stuffed full, causes ... |
| 12. | Re: Overrides Posted by Moon on 3/16/2006 6:04:51 AM LOL see I knew you would have the answer PDW. Good job too, cos my override is a little packed ;) |
| 13. | Re: NPC Tailor Posted by Moon on 12/14/2005 9:50:29 AM Well, lets assume ONLY thieves...err Rogues, were allowed to have the hooded cloak. Well now everybody IG knows anyone wearing a hooded cloak is a THIEF! Dunno bout you, but I prefer not to know, unless I have figured it out IC in game.
Now it is 99% of the time raining in Port Royal and surrounding areas, Midor has a bit too, though not as much thank the goddess! My char Moon is always complaining that she is 'going to rust' with all the rain. I actually do think that hooded cloaks ... |
| 14. | Re: Help! They're building Midor in my country!! Posted by Moon on 3/3/2006 3:19:12 AM Wanst Midor already based on your country in general
Actually, if you want to get technical, the British monarch is both head of state and head of the Church of England... at least here we have the pretense of separation of church and state ;P
*grins* True enough, good ol' Henry V111! I'm not a church/temple go'er, although I like to think I am a 'spiritual' person. When I went to school, it was a state ... |
| 15. | Rita & Bob Quest Posted by Moon on 2/23/2006 5:46:26 PM Sorry, but I could not find the 'Broken Quests' thread, so i made a brand new one :P
I did the Rita & Bob quest (you know the one, Bob goes off into the caves out back to find summit to save the farm etc) Anyhow I actually managed to survive, found poor Bob dead, (gave him a proper burial in fire) and returned to the very upset Rita. Only silly cow does not give me an option to tell her Bob is dead and finish the quest.
Now I did take Bobs flail off him, but I left the ... |
| 16. | Re: Rita & Bob Quest Posted by Moon on 2/24/2006 9:43:35 AM Oh thanks for the replies. There were a couple routes that I never bothered going down after I had found Bob & the nasty queen. Guess I figured wrong *grins* Now I get to go back in and have another fun time weeeeeeee! |
| 17. | Re: Hiya. Posted by Moon on 2/13/2006 4:44:48 PM Welcome, pleased to meet you You will indeed love Vives, if you have any doubts, just ask Moon to kneecap you....it's her answer to most things in life. *Whispers: Although she tends to miss more often than not* |
| 18. | Re: Skewed Posted by Moon on 2/9/2006 1:18:08 PM Be well SQ, I hope it all goes well for you. |
| 19. | Back Into The Abyss Event Posted by Moon on 2/5/2006 3:33:39 AM The Dm event "Back Into The Abyss" the concluding (well, that part at least*winks* ) part to the trouble in Ferien, the Lost City and the Tears Of Elbereth. Last night was SMASHING! I have enjoyed all the events to do with this storyline that I have been able to attend, but last night was by far the best!
Firstly I got to piece together the story, find out 'what happened in the end' cos it just kills me to have to wait to know! *grins* But DM Benny out did himself on this ... |
| 20. | Re: Congratulations! Posted by Moon on 1/10/2006 4:11:01 PM Congratulations to both of you Lisen, don't let Ara convince you that your kids must all have Northen accents, drink your beer flat, and NEVER admit to knowing what Pie n' Chips or Toad-In-The-Hole is! ;-D |
| 21. | Re: A terrible Vision, the breaking of Moon Fireforge Posted by Moon on 1/15/2006 5:16:48 AM Moon never looked back to her companions; she simply walked from the Temple gardens. They had survived the Lost City of Ferein...but only because the power that lay there allowed it. She felt as if her mind were unhinged, too many thoughts and emotions swirling about inside of her.
Moon was not known for her intelligence or wisdom, she could not read her own name. Yet, she was a creature of the free lands, and while her words, thoughts and deeds might seem simple, there was at times ... |
| 22. | A terrible Vision, the breaking of Moon Fireforge Posted by Moon on 1/14/2006 4:53:53 AM Moon had been resting in the Plains, intending to attempt yet again to mine some iron ore, if she could win her way past the Ogres. Standing, she was about to burst into a run when suddenly she felt constricted at the throat. Putting her hands up she clawed at the imaginary hands cutting off her air supply, to no avail. Darkness swooped in and soon she fell to the ground spitting out blood, while weakly convulsing upon the dry earth.
"Father..." she cried weakly, out loud ... |
| 23. | Re: A terrible Vision, the breaking of Moon Fireforge Posted by Moon on 1/22/2006 5:20:50 AM Moon lay below decks of the ship heading towards Port Royal, her hands flapping outward towards the magical runes that surrounded her.
"Dang blasted mages, dang blasted magic!" she grumbled, as for the hundredth time she swatted into thin air. She of course did not mean it; she in fact understood that those who harnessed magic could be very helpful indeed. It was just this magic she objected too...because it had been laid upon her to make a point.
The ... |

| 25. | Re: **** DM EVENT: And the gate opens.... Posted by Moon on 1/15/2006 5:29:25 AM Thank you for an amazing 5 hours, I'm glad I was able to see it to the end (although I am paying for it waking up less than 4 hours after falling asleep!) The players were smashing, the DM patient and excellent. I have to admire those who can keep the plot even after so much has been said by so many different characters. Although lag was very much evident for me, all in all, I have been in worse, and the DM dealt with the lag issue really well. The actual 'setting' was all that it should have ... |
