Back Into The Abyss Event Posted: 05 Feb 2006 03:33 AM |
The Dm event "Back Into The Abyss" the concluding (well, that part at least*winks* ) part to the trouble in Ferien, the Lost City and the Tears Of Elbereth. Last night was SMASHING! I have enjoyed all the events to do with this storyline that I have been able to attend, but last night was by far the best!
Firstly I got to piece together the story, find out 'what happened in the end' cos it just kills me to have to wait to know! *grins* But DM Benny out did himself on this one, how he managed to cater to all of us players I will never know. But we all managed to have a good bit of role-playing, and the ending was pure magic. The dialogue, the use of effects, the change in lighting....the two dragons! I'm a horrid RP'er and was totally flummoxed when the 'Witch Silmarwen' made Moon take the Tears and talk to The Tear. Thank god Moon had her companions around her who knew what to say, and helped her along with prompts when she would otherwise have stomped on the Tears from frustration and lack o' brains Everyone was brilliant, and my thanks and Hat goes off to Benny for running a 6 hour event seamlessly (ignoring the couple of server crashes)
Thanks again, Moon really feels like she helped somehow last night, although being an idiot, she's not sure what....yet. |

Dragons?! Tears?!
*pouts* I always miss the fun parts. :'(
Oh and, you're a great RPer... A bad RPer would be me ^^' *has too many errors and embarrasing RP situations to remember them all* |

(*Finally regaining some semblance of consciousness*)
Thanks for the compliments but all I do is provide the setting, the players contibute just as much, sometimes more. Without the insight of some of those involved the story couldn't have proceeded to its conclusion. Nor was I solely resposible for all of what happened last night.
((OOC note - the journal will still refer most likely to the shortage of crops/herbs etc and the effects that were felt while this storyline was running. After the events of yesterday NONE of those effects remain in place. CNR can be treated as back to normal where affected, druids, rangers, mages and other followers of Elbereth are restored to full power now the Mother's attention is no longer distracted. I will update the journal as well as some other bits and pieces IG once I get a chance to get my hands on the mod, until then the information in this post applies.))
Thank you to all who took part |
