Heh! Thanks, RenterSmileyI'll tell you all what, I love the crafting bit; finding new material, making new stuff, seeing what it does, selling it off, and donating the money when I have the presence of mind to make Dorian do it. It's great, it's fun, it's a real blast. I like the interaction best, though. We all have lives and circumstances, yea, but I just wanted to say that everyone here's awesome, and I miss ...

Alright, I've been here a while, haven't had much gumption to post anything, but I gotta tell ya, after that last event I was a part of.... Alright, First and foremost, to Phoenix. X's spells gave Dorian what little fighting chance he had down in Nethar'u.SmileyI was doing pretty good until I met our friendly neighborhood Gelugon. Renter and Wicked Artist, you two are excellent to have on a team. If anyone doubts ...

That was actually kinda relaxingSmileyI liked it, you could tell that the old man loves what he does. I gotta say, though, the glue that they were making and using looks kinda like something I ate while I was out there..... All of a sudden, I don't feel all that hot..... Excuse me.....

Hm. Dorian was a lvl 14 once upon a time. Now I'm 5K away from it (and I mean coming back up from 13). Dorian dying? It's like crafting, just a matter of courseSmileyDorian wanders, Dorian dies. It really doesn't make me so angry as it used to . A little annoying, yea, but brushed off easily enough. I may see lvl 14 again, but I kinda doubt I'll see 15, hehe! I still have fun with it. Well, if you'll excuse me, I ...

I'm here. Working like it's going out of style (learning a new trade is a painful, painful process), but I'm still here. Hopefully it starts to slow down soon. I miss this place with people in it.

To whomever this may concern,
Greetings. My name is Tulith. I seek the service of hunters and alchemists. I need tallow oil. I, myself, am a crafter of some very small note, and I am perfectly capable of making everything required for it. For those who aren't aware of the processes in which this substance is made, the glass flasks that it is kept in can be purchased either from Elbert Oinstoin or crafted from sand harvested from various locations, and the oil itself is gathered by ...

((DISCLAIMER: This is an ongoing bickering match between my Elven sorceror, Tulith Dy'nesseren (Tull), and Wicked Hampster's Human blackguard, Wilhelm Von'Drake (Will). This dialogue is actual IG interaction between our two characters, and will be relayed as accurately as I can relay it. Enjoy!))

EPISODE 1:

Tull: So! Let's see you dance!

Will: Excuse me?

EPISODE 2:

Will: Where are you going?

Tull: Inside.

Will: Why?

Tull: I need a nap.

Will: Another one?! Gods, you're such a wuss!

Tull: I am. It's part of the reason I'm so effective.

Will: *throws Tull his customary irritated glare* What are you blathering about this time?

Tull: Well, think about it. You're an over-sized warrior, yes?

Will: What does that have to do with anything?

((Now, this one was great! StarryIce has been having a lot of fun with me and my cohort since our travels have begun, and I can't wait for the next one to come out! This time, we're in Buckshire. Will's using the tinkering tools. This one happened a while ago and may not be 100%, but I'm doing my best. Enjoy!))

Tull: Heh! Sorry about that, let me go ahead and get that....

Will: It's not hard, and I know you weren't raised in a barn!

Tull: No. No I wasn't. I was raised in a cave.

Will: .......

EPISODE 4, Part 2:

Tull: Why does it have to end with speak of Atalan? Do you realize how easily you could get me attacked talking like that?

Will: I'm counting on it. Enough about that, though. How'd it go?

Tull: Hm?

Will: Don't play ...

Either way, there's a smoking wreckage of a gravesite not too far off from Ye Ole Hole in da ground. I never noticed it before! I'm sure it's been there for a good long while, but Tull finds Will standing in the middle of it, and, well.... Heh! Here it is.))

Now, that's not exactly the truest statement, RenterSmileyTin, copper, and feldspar don't do Dorian any good anymore.... Of course, the furnace there and that titanium tipping brazier would be nice, vice having to go all the way back to the Artio encampment.... Still! Dorian's been trying to purchase the privilege of using those resources for a while! You just haven't had Caddo on to collect :-p

Congrats! Libo every weekend? That's all you're allowed? Kinda strict, no? When I went to my schools, I had libo as long as I wasn't on duty. I just got into the reserves, myself, PO3 test in Feb and Aug. What's your rate? I'm a CM.

I have to agree completely with DSM-IV here. It may have been ugly, but we did it. Alton may have had to use 10 Res's on Ophie, and I'll openly admit that he used 3 on me, and no matter how gruesome it got, it got done. Remember I said "pretty much" when I told you about my expectations for Dorian? I thought that I'd be retiring him after this event, and he's only a lvl friggin' 13. I think he just might even have a crafting lvl higher than his character lvl!

Now.

*shrugs* It could've been much worse as far as I'm concerned, and I really don't have any complaints, it went pretty much as I expected it to for Dorian. That, however, is why I have to agree with Johe about splitting the roles between the low levellers and the epics (Really haven't seen much of an inbetween). The really bad part is that, every time the mobs respawned, I was actually about to mention something about reinforcements.... *grins* Oh well, Dorian's still alive! I had a good time at ...

He stoked the meagre flame that he had built. In a little bit, it would be alright, but by the time he was done with it, it would be serving a two more purposes; First, to keep him warm, and second, to ward off the smaller creatures of the Kobai. It got cold at night out there, and the smaller creatures of the Kobai were no less hostile for their size. He'd dug himself a lot of sand today, and he knew that he wouldn't drag all of it back to civilization until late tomorrow afternoon. He could ...

He sighed to himself as he wandered alone through the Hardknott. 'Seige'n Breg'dim....' The thought rattled disconsolately through his head. He shook his head hard, trying to rid himself of the idea for the time being, to set himself to his original purpose, but it was an idea that shook him to the very core. He still shuddered, even felt a bit faint every time he remembered the words coming out of Talion's mouth.
He thought back to his short time as a soldier. Learning the ...

And as he stood there hammering out weapons, he got himself to anticipating his latest trick: that of superheating a single ingot of titanium to the point of liquid metal and feeding it to the tip of an iron weapon. Never did take much to make this one happy, no sir. He sat there, ritualistically hammering the metal, wearing his armor and helm, to keep the metal cinders from burning his body, most specifically his eyes. His cloak was folded away to keep those same cinders from singeing it.

-Pinned to the bottom right hand corner of this notice, unobtrusive, but still perfectly noticeable-

My requirements aren't quite so modest. I have three Malar Panther hides that I have been preserving for far too long, and I do not have nearly the skill required to work them. I've sought tailors and had no luck in finding any, so now it's time to see if any might come to me. I'll pay TOP CROWN for services rendered. To boot, if any are to facilitate my request within the next FORTY ...
