| 3. | Its been fun Posted by Alenuska on 11/25/2003 4:54:39 PM Anyways its been fun. Anyways to find out what happend to Alen follow this link i thought the whole what goes around comes around ending to her was sort of fitting. None the less thanks for those here who did make my time here so special and a special thanks to the Staff I have to say this beta testing experiance has been good I might return and resubmit an application when its out of ... |
| 4. | Re: The End of Us Posted by Alenuska on 11/24/2003 7:57:19 AM I had to stop and think back on previous experiances. So I could post on this topic (so bare with Poor Alenuska)
Parting, is bitter sweet for some. Others less so,I've been in my share of guilds and online communities. Some would disband and later for sentimental or nostalgic purposes attempt rebuild only to be swept away with the sands of time. But one thing I've learned is this, and yes time in a sense is a preditor and time is also a companion who goes with us ... |
| 5. | The Light house Posted by Alenuska on 11/25/2003 4:46:03 PM Every Winter after weeks of devistateing storms and sea fog
bone chilling sea fog claws its way over the calm waters sealing off Mullohand bay for months.
Fine shroud of miss hangs over the ship as it slowly glids over the still water. Off in the distance the vail is pierced by a strong steady light.
Foreign vessels would perish if it were not for the "good" people of Mullohand bay spending what little oil they had to fire up the ... |
| 6. | Re: Persistent Banking/Storage System? Posted by Alenuska on 11/24/2003 9:00:15 AM Not a bad Idea but I feel I should remind people remeber this is in "Beta" Still so there could be a char or item wipe in the future! But dont take my words on it I'm not a Dm but I should remind others to please remeber this is a beta test. As for the banking system would be a great addition who knows maybe we will all be able to buy into the Dow and Niki and bonds and stocks what fun that would be! |
| 7. | Re: Carrier Pigeons Posted by Alenuska on 11/21/2003 11:36:20 AM I simply see it as Meta gameing if you die your dead take the exp loss and deal with it so you loose a level or gold big deal its a part of the game and it could be alot worse after all if you go hunting theres supposed to be some risk involved.. tells for res's are just lame and assumeing your character just fell and is bleeding to death how the hell is he or she going to send a pigeon in the heat of battle to say oh i need a res.. nice thought but theres going to be some ... |
| 8. | Re: Epic Levels and Hordes of the Underdark Posted by Alenuska on 11/7/2003 8:26:55 PM the problem I mostly see is cliched story lines aka the typical ( Player a:oh No deamons from another plane threaten humanity nameless player: oh well didnt they do that last week? ) |
| 9. | Re: Epic Levels and Hordes of the Underdark Posted by Alenuska on 11/6/2003 5:50:35 PM I'm against Epic levels Unless theres going to be a rp reason for them aka new gods and patheons and such I just dont see the sense of one character being able to take on a army... |
| 10. | Re: Roleplay Sugestions Posted by Alenuska on 11/14/2003 5:34:33 PM Not to cut you down here on this one tas but If I wanted to worry about stats extra id ether be playing one of my other online games or Star fleet battles which relys heavly on numbers so for me in this area its a no go |
| 11. | Re: POLL: Contract Killing Posted by Alenuska on 11/16/2003 5:52:11 AM I dont see a problem with it Fen it sounds like an interesting concept though Id like to see it fleshed out personally I dont think a player should be safe from thieves murderer or high way men or women makes life dull. |
| 12. | Re: From the pen of Fri'el Skygem Posted by Alenuska on 11/5/2003 8:12:25 PM Quite nice I like it keep up the good work nice use of words and it flows quite nicely if alen were to see this i'm sure she would be quite emotional and swooning |
| 13. | Re: From the pen of Fri'el Skygem Posted by Alenuska on 10/25/2003 5:39:10 AM Quite nice Barcelona, quite nice indeed. Keep up to the good work, youve a way with words that is quite nice. You should start up a gallery and or site with all your writeing I think id enjoy reading and seeing more of your work in the future. However I did notice three things about fri'els writeing's. One, being she always seems to victimize her self it seems sort of like shes quite insecure and still trying to find her self or thats shes constantly battleing her inner ... |
| 14. | Re: From the pen of Fri'el Skygem Posted by Alenuska on 10/2/2003 9:23:38 AM Very, nicely written. |
| 15. | Re: General IRC issues today Posted by Alenuska on 11/7/2003 7:50:36 PM Heh I agree with Shaz'jen although I have to admit I feel rogues on Vives are Obsolete and the fact that ive never been concerned with being the strongest or haveing the best items or the most Exp is why I play them I personally enjoy Playing a semi handicaped player the fact that thief's have a difficult enough time battleing anything on vives and finding exp supports this I mean you need only look at a cleric such as fri'el to know disable traps are an obstical of the past ... |
| 16. | Re: Farewell Friends. Posted by Alenuska on 8/10/2003 3:42:08 AM that really sucks about your cd i wish they were scratch proof ive had similar problems in the past so i can relate as to how fusterateing it can be. Its sad we never got to rp in game i'm sure i would have enjoyed it anyways good luck to you where ever your travels lead.

| 17. | a poem to Fri'el Sky gem Posted by Alenuska on 11/4/2003 10:32:53 PM The dark and light separates us to lay bare our bleeding hearts as they call out to each other. Cast off your useless trappings/morality. Some things can only be seen when you've lost everything . Love is the peace I have found! It's my only joy to believe in you The storm blows so that we might realize our love fusterated

| 20. | Re: Punishments, Trials, ETC Posted by Alenuska on 10/19/2003 7:10:34 PM slink they improvised and used irc |
| 21. | Re: Punishments, Trials, ETC Posted by Alenuska on 10/19/2003 7:29:45 PM What, might I ask is the matter with that? Dare I say there are many groups who play pnp on line should they be shuned for so? I say all the power to them at least they have some imagination and some creativty... but your right it is amuseing isnt? A shame you wernt around to part take in it though something tell's me you wouldnt have been interested or appreciated the attempt by your remark. |
| 22. | Re: Punishments, Trials, ETC Posted by Alenuska on 10/19/2003 7:50:09 PM I was about to ask you the same thing slink if you ever rp. Though you do seem to constantly wish to start a fire, I just hope you can also doze it if it gets out of controll as well dont start somthing you cant finish. Besides I thought by now you would have grown up and got over the previous issues apprently not and heh I thought women were more mature then men. |
| 23. | Re: Punishments, Trials, ETC Posted by Alenuska on 10/20/2003 6:46:39 PM <Edit>
Although like I've said all along exp shouldnt make someone rp or stop rping it shouldnt be the motivation or lack of. None the less I think the trial was fairly lenient and to be honest when and if Alen makes it to her trial I from an occ Prespective expect worse then a tap on the hand the most damning thing I think from an rp prespective is the restraining order and the ingame consiquences which seem still sort of light but they make for some ... |
