The Light house

Every Winter after weeks of devistateing storms and sea fog

bone chilling sea fog claws its way over the calm waters sealing off Mullohand bay for months.

Fine shroud of miss hangs over the ship as it slowly glids over the still water. Off in the distance the vail is pierced by a strong steady light.

Foreign vessels would perish if it were not for the "good" people of Mullohand bay spending what little oil they had to fire up the light house.

The ship slowly approaches the light house all that can be seen is its black shadow and the haunting glow of the light the ship slowly calmly reaches a small dock. A man and a women can be seen the man in a cloak orange in color neatly lined with silk his face kind and inviteing he holds a lantern.. which glows into the night. The women next to him in a beautiful white ball gown she holds a tray of cookies and looks down upon Alenuska who nearly died in the previous nights storm cold miserable and less then optimistic she sneers and trys to smile.. The man puts his free hand out to Alenuska and helps her off the ship her face wet cold her makeup running.

Life is hard at mullohand bay and food scarce...

The good people of mullohand bay are but farmers and fishermen.. kind careing and curtious to travels the very few travels they have...

Alenuska is offered the cookies by the beautiful blond haired women in her silk gown in which she greedily takes and eats so very hungry. The man spoke "Greetings dear lady you look a poor sight allows us to ease your troubles some " Alenuska replied weakly "Bless you sire for your kindness"
The women in white spoke softly "hurry inside please for there are wild dogs about.."
The gentlemen in orange who hadent yet introduced him self said " oh erm yes of course forgive me for being so forgetful" He motioned for the very wet and cold Alenuska to follow the women in white while he tied her boat to the dock.

When Alenuska and the women entered she found her self in a fairly large dineing room decorated quite nicely. Which had quite a few other people within the rooms all peasants and fisher men and women by the looks of them all poorly dressed some flashed a toothless smile. Some old some young but all were curious and quite interested in the "guest" the women in white smiled softly and gestured to the seat at the head of the table and spoke "For our honored traveler we have a feast in your honor".. Alenuska noded slightly and thought to her self such kindness have these people shown me I suppose Fri'el was right there are some kind people.. or generally good she sat down and smiled at those around the room seeing the man in orange enter she said I'm Isabella Kalana... from Maldovia.. the people smiled and proceeded to introduce them selves the man told Alenuska "that he was mayor Morgan De rossi and the lady in white was his wife Alina and that they rarely had guest and that dinner would be momentarily for they had seen her ship from the distantance" how that was possible Alenuska didnt know though tired and hungry she didnt care nor inquire..

Although vessels navagateing in theses waters seldomed carried anything of value or trade the villagers served the best food..

The dinner was a feast there was much talk though somthing about the food seemed to drain Alenuska of whatever strength she had she was tired and smiled contently lots of grilled meat and vegtables no doubt from the fields of the Good people of Mullohand as they all proceeded moved into the den swapping tales joy and laughter enchoed into the night by the fire place into the late hours of the night .

And the guest was offered a comfortable bed for the night

A delicious dinner and a warm bed , Only a few hours ago she may have ended up as food for the sharks as cold as ice. A fortunate turn she thought , yet fate works in unpredictable ways , It has its good turns and its bad turns yet it always evens out... always.
From food for the sharks onto a delicious dinner and again onto the stove of the "good" people of Mullohand.

At dawn the fine people of Mullohand bay will put the empty ship to sea again and quietly celebrate there catch...

Life is still harsh at mullohand bay but food... is always plenty...

"...Another day passes and I slip further from reality..."
