According to the testing site, my laptop meets every requirement except for the graphics card, but it equalled all the listed reqs for the card, so I'm not sure. Interesting thing: even though my processor is NOT 3 gigs, it listed as higher for the test for some reason - I was elated. Haven't been able to test the desktop since my DSL still hasn't been turned on and it's a thousand dollar paperweight until then. Posted: 26 Oct 2006 02:31 PM Famous last words but... I'm betting I can get by with just upgrading a few parts. Someone mentioned a compatibility testing site. Where is it? I'm in no hurry though. NWN2 looks amazing on screen but out of the box I wouldn't expect it to be as immersive and interactive as Vives1 is now. I hear the toolset is incredible, but I'm also reading elsewhere that modules might have to be smaller and interior focused in multiplayer mode. Either stay with something that I know is pretty amazing already or delve into something that could be better in time. Wait and see, I guess. But as I've posted in annother thread, I can't see upgrading an AGP card, instead of going PCIe (PCIE?) But that requires upgrading the Moboard, CPU, and RAM too... and I won't be doing that untill I get a job to pay for it. (which *gasps* might not be all that far away now.. I actually finnished updating my resume) We'll see how soon that comes about. Yeah, but that would only serve to drag out the death of this computer... like putting it on artificial life support. Posted: 26 Oct 2006 10:17 PM i'm between the min and rec specs here. I expect I'll be able to run it at 800x600 with at medium-ish detail level, or 1024x768 at low. BKatt...the graphics card would be a fix until you HAVE to upgrade...and even then you'd have two computers to run NWN2 on in case a friend comes over. perfect.
