What DnD Character Are You? Posted: 17 Mar 2006 05:30 PM |
So apparently you can take this survey (link below) and it will tell you what sort of D&D charcter (class, race, alignment) you are....I think it was developed so that someone could create a personality and then determine what sort of class/race they should play. But I think it's more fun to use it on yourself (sorta, some of the questions are a little random) and see who you "should" be in a D&D world...
I came up a Chaotic Good human bard...I'm in public relations....it's almost the same thing, right? ;)

I was surprised by the Barbarian bit though...I got 16 for Barbarian, 13 for either bard or paladin. go figure.

Re: What DnD Character Are You? Posted: 17 Mar 2006 06:01 PM |
I'm worried, i got:
Alignment: True Neutral characters are very rare. They believe that balance is the most important thing, and will not side with any other force. They will do whatever is necessary to preserve that balance, even if it means switching allegiances suddenly.
Race: Halflings are short and fat, like minuature people. (Think 'Hobbits') They enjoy the easy life, but aren't averse to the idea of an adventure from time to time. They get along with all races, and are known for their senses of humor. Halflings also tend to be light of foot, and can move quietly when necessary.
Primary Class: Druids are a special variety of Cleric who serves the Earth, and can call upon the power in the earth to accomplish their goals. They tend to be somewhat fanatical about defending natural settings.
Secondary Class: Thieves are the most roguish of the classes. They are sneaky and nimble-fingered, and have skills with traps and locks. While not all use these skills for burglary, that is a common occupation of this class.
Detailed Results:
Alignment: Law and Chaos: Law ----- (-2) Neutral - XXXXXXXXXX (10) Chaos --- XXXXXXXXXX (10)
Good and Evil: Good ---- XXX (3) Neutral - XXXXXXXXXXXXX (13) Evil ---- (0)
Race: Human ---- XXXXXXX (7) Half-Elf - XXXXXXXXX (9) Elf ------ XXXXXXXX (8) Gnome ---- XXXXXX (6) Halfling - XXXXXXXXXX (10) Dwarf ---- XXXX (4) Half-Orc - XXX (3)
Class: Fighter -- XXXX (4) Barbarian -X (1) Ranger --- XXXXXX (6) Monk ----- XXXXXX (6) Paladin -- XXX (3) Cleric --- XX (2) Mage ----- XX (2) Druid ---- XXXXXXXX (8) Thief ----XXXXXXXX (8) Bard ----- XXXXXXX (7) |

| Chaotic Good Human Bard... Hrmm, what a coinicidence... Still, I suppose if you take bard as "Jack of All Trades" instead of "Let's go sing a song, YAY TEAM!", it could fit. |

Hmmm...some people won't be surprised by this...I got: "Chaotic Neutral Halfling Thief Cleric"
With the following little dissertation on what it means to be Chaotic Neutral:
Chaotic Neutral characters are unstable, and frequently insane. They believe in disorder first and foremost, and will thus strive for that disorder in everything they do. This means that they will do whatever seems 'fun' or 'novel' at any given time.

Interesting...
True Neutral Halfling Ranger.
I really tried to answer these as if it were ME, and not what one of my characters, as if the questions could represent modern day situations (for some of them it was a strech) or if I lived in this sort of world.
so its interesting that I got TN, which is the alignment I prefer, and Halfling, which is the race I prefer.
..don't know where the Ranger thing came from though. Maybe I'll have to make a character like that. :) |

That was fun
NG Fighter, but
Fighter (12) Paladin (11) Ranger (10) Barbarian (9)
So kinda a multi-class, And...
Alignment: Law and Chaos: Law ----- XXXXXXX (7) Neutral - (0) Chaos --- XXXXXXX (7)
No Neutral score but even Law and Chaos

Re: What DnD Character Are You? Posted: 18 Mar 2006 04:08 AM |
Well that’s interesting... I took the test AS Cora, and the result for class, and alignment were spot on, and race was only off by one point (it had 12 points for Half-Orc, and 11 points for Halfling)
And just for the hell of it, I took it as me again, after looking up the definitions of temperance, prudence, fortitude, and justice (which made me change the order of those) and answering a few other questions a slight bit differently after a little more time to think about em... and once again, True Neutral Halfling Ranger. |

Re: What DnD Character Are You? Posted: 18 Mar 2006 09:53 AM |
Yeah, I tryed to answer them as -me- the player aswell. But i suppose in a odd way a hafling does fit me, i kinda act like haflings (hobbits) and dont go adventuring much further than nearest pubs, sides from a few rare trips and I always like those. Get along fairly well with people. I'm lazy and somewhat hedoinstic in nature i admit, like most halflings. But druid?! That's odd choise for me if you ask me... though i suppose it makes more sense than cleric at least.
Hmmm... On that thought a TN halfling druid/rogue, maybe that's my next character. |
