SCREECH....BANG!

Just a lil note to let yall know I was in a car accident this past Sunday The 25th. It was a bad one, all authorities involved said things like it was a miracle, god saved me, and other junk. I say it was just dumb luck for I don't believe in the other crap.
Anyway, here's the damage report:
1.) Totalled the car
2.) Fractured the L5 vertebrae in my back.
3.) A Few fractured ribs on left side.
4.) Two collapsed disks in the lumbar area of my back.
5.) a bulding disk in same lumbar area.
6.) a seriously heavy duty concussion as my face and temple area SLAMMED into the upper part of the door where it meets the door frame.
7.) And a partridge in a pear tree.
Anyway, there's the situation. If I sound stupid or retarded the next while or so (more so than usual) Don't worry, it's only the concussion lol :)
Thanks go out to all in IRC who have wished me well and have worried about me.
I'm alright, it could have been alot worse, fatal in fact from the reports. Luckily, the only parts of me that don't hurt are my hands so I can at least do the comp thang ;)

And a pox to the shmuck who ran you off the road and fled. How someone could nearly kill someone and drive away without checking on the person is beyond me . |

I agree bro, it shows a lack of basic human compassion to nearly kill someone in this way and flee the scene.

dang. That's terrible... but for the best you're still alive.
Takes me back to when my best friend's car got totalled, he got away with only a few bruises. The authorities said it was a miracle then.
At times like those it's easy to believe.
I'm glad you're okay, all in all, especially the part about your hands... very important body part, if you ask me. Good luck with the recovery, and damned to the man who did it. |

Hey, look on the bright side, ya got a good reason to get out of chores and get some more IG time now !
Seriously though, hope you heal fast and am just very relieved it wasnt more serious. There is enough crap going on in the world, so really glad you are ok'ish.
