Arawen sent you a PM with details :)

Re: UMD scale is skewed 7/9/2004 3:43:25 PM   (Total replies: 1)
I dont think these changes will increase the number of clerics because even if melee classes cant read scrolls to cure themselves, potions are plentiful. AFAIK, an antidote potion, not only can cure poison, it can also remove ability penalty and remove disease.

Re: Lag Death 11/4/2004 6:20:27 PM   (Total replies: 0)
Ok I figured this "incident" would cause some writing in the forums so here goes my 2 cents: I was in the party and I died, although I did manage to get out of the temple. I died partly due to lag but I don't think that matters, nobody should complain about that. It's part of this game, sometimes the lag is in your favor, sometimes not. I suck it up so to speak :) About the spawns; I don't think any monsters that the DMs can spawn are actually "wrong". Any DM can spawn any monster they ...

Re: Item guidelines 8/24/2004 2:34:18 AM   (Total replies: 0)
the only problem with setting a fixed limit on things is that they don't scale. While setting a limit to +3 on weapons is fine (because at least AB increases at epic levels), it's a much bigger problem with e.g. armor class since that does not (in general) increase. I find it a problem when you might as well be fighting in your underwear than wear your armor, having armor protection should always be useful and potentially make a difference....

Bug with the barter window 6/21/2004 10:31:50 AM   (Total replies: 1)
Don't know of a good place to post this so I'll just put it here. I was in the OOC players lounge today and was going to show a few things to a friend. I opened up the barter window and put the things there, and I found that after about 1 minutes time the items started to disappear one at a time. First I thought it was a DM prank, but I (and the other guy) put some other things there and they also disappeared (no they did not go to the inventory, simply just disappeared). I don't know if this ...

I just also want to thank the crew for the good event. Great timing to put it out there with all the undead and such on halloween, I was quite surprised when I entered the server :) I also think it was great that you posted on the forums here many days in advance since it allowed me to schedule in the event and show up, good for those of us that cant spend so much time IG to find out about these events. Thanks again, MrPink aka Arawen

as some people may know by now I'm a sword freak too. I wont be begging for any new swords to put in-game, what I will be begging for though is that new models of weapons will be put in. That way we could get alot more customization to the world (new weapon models can be reached by using the craft weapon menu). Here are some REALLY nice greatswords model (and a few models of other weapons). If any of these would make it in I would be a very happy man :-) ...

<quote> Fact is, at p[resent, you're more likely to find something better than the best things you can create. </quote> Why not decrease the chance of finding really powerful items then so that they would be truly rare. And instead make the "average good" items come from crafting... that should bring some interest into crafting...

Re: Adventure groups 8/31/2004 11:25:29 AM   (Total replies: 1)
maybe a solution to the problem would be to keep track of the experience awarded similar to how you guys keep track of how much experience points one has gained from picking locks. Let's say you can gain 5000 points in total from picking locks, then maybe it would be suitable to put a pool on every monster as well, like 1000 or 2000 points. That way characters could still gain (good) experience points from a high level monster when they are strong enough, even if they have been fighting it for ...
