<quote>Seil, and just to add onto that, a shout out to Shard for quite an enjoyable evening last night, and a little adventure that DID NOT get us both killed :D</quote> Yar, I enjoyed it quite a bit. Don't worry, though. I die enough for the both of us. ;)

Have to give a shout out to Jessup, Lucifer, Nero, Fennigan (especially for wearing that dress!), Berein, and of course The Muse for an absolutely awesome PAJWT. Made my night, guys and gals, thanks for that. :)

I second that, Chief. I had a blast, and I thank the DMs for the opportunity to participate in some wanton destruction like such, as well as you, Fenn, and Alton for being there to give the elite archers something else to shoot at. :3

Killer/Achiever/Socializer. Without a doubt. I may not care for traveling to exotic locations, but I do love killing some exotic creatures. Or players. The potential challenge in the next opponent is what keeps the game interesting for me. And few things are quite as satisfying as getting to the next level. Except maybe chatting for hours on end. IC or OOC. Both are fine by me.

Perma death.. no thank you. Too easy to die on a because of a little bad luck, just to have everything you've worked for thrown out the window. That is to say: The story of a character isn't meant to be abruptly ended in some anticlimatic scene with generic mob #76 (that has conveniently been killed by said player character earlier on for experience and loot). There's nothing wrong with ending a character, but that's something based on the actions of the player.. not based on every day ...

<quote>Just say no to the XP monster. *smirks*</quote> I'm seriously not sure why everyone dislikes the pursuit of leveling on the server.. I'll be perfectly honest, in every game I play I am a power gamer (*gasp* The dreaded "P" word). I play World of Warcraft (another *gasp*, I know), and enjoy it quite a bit. But, in WoW you don't RP. They have "Roleplaying servers", but well.. large quantities of "roleplayers" never really work out due to the vast differences in RP styles. That ...

Wow. That's me and Skitsy101, minus me hitting her. It's the other way around on that one.

Shard expected this to happen. It was his goal, his mission, his destiny. He leapt to one side as a ghoulish creature slashed at him with disgusting claws. They may be smarter and faster than their generic counterparts, but they were still undead and still predictable. At least to an accomplished ex-necromancer like Shard. He saw an opening and took it, cutting the creature from arm through torso and out the neck. The creature fell in two, but there were many more still. He had taken ...

As the arcanist slowly traveled towards his destination, his familiarization with the area came back at a rapid pace. It started off slow.. remembering a short cut here and there, and eventually it became an entirely different path than the one he was taking. He knew this area, he hunted here. Not a traditional style of hunting, no. His style of hunting involved the use of arcane magic. It was more like target practise than anything else. Even then, he felt a bit uneasy with the idea of ...
