How do you /tell a player who has quotes in their name? I cannot seem to get it to work, the quotes seem to mess up the location-finding for the tell (I get "player cannot be found" error).

So I guess the server just went down about 5 minutes ago. No problems there, it happens and it's normal.
However, when I came back online... my character's inventory was royally messed up. I had just purchased a few items in Ferein (Titanium Defenders Helm, Bracers of Armor +3, and a Belt of Agility +1), sold some items (a few iron daggers and kukris) about 5 minutes before the crash - and now everything is gone. I have about 17k less in gold, and none of the items that I bought -or- ... |

I'm not sure if it's dead, but it might be a good idea to remove the Helga Strothembaum quest. |

Hmmm... maybe removed, maybe have the consequences changed a bit. I don't want to give the quest away or anything; however, if someone were to fulfill the quest, they should never, never be allowed in Midor ever again, and probably be hunted down by the Hand no matter where they go. And if they die anywhere near Midor (in the areas where the Infirmary picks them up), they cannot be rescued - or rescued only to be imprisoned and executed.
At least, perhaps, a DM should be required to ... |

Some incredible areas in there. That waterfall Johe talked about is amazing, one of the coolest things I've seen in NWN period. I've played around with those tilesets before and couldn't get the areas to look half as good as you all have.
I can't wait to see what's next. |

Best Movie: Spirited Away by Hayao Miyazaki. Simply awesome. Wayne's World, classic fave. The Six Hour Pride and Prejudice by the BBC/A&E is also one of the best, and I'm man enough to admit that. Garden State is the best movie I've seen in the past few months.

I am currently looking to perfect my skills with the katana; however, I require a better blade to hone my skills with. I currently have a Menacing Grenatic Katana, a blade with a minor enchantment with an extremely sharp edge, and a Sword Saint Legacy also with a minor enchantment that screams as it strikes. These are the only two katanas I have found in the shops, and these no longer suit my needs.

Why exactly can you pick a fight with Ender in his tent in the Scorched Earth? Wouldn't killing him be a major IG change to Vives, warranting a buildup a little greater than a series of single response answers? |

I was asking more along the lines of, why even have it as an option? You can't have a dialogue with just any NPC and end up turning them hostile, why have one with Ender? Why have an in character mechanism for picking a fight with Ender and potentially killing him?
I didn't want to end up fighting Ender. I didn't end up killing him; I ran off once I saw all the people in the tent turn hostile. He is a mysoginist pig, sure, but by the time the conversation escalated, there was no way ... |

There is an item called the "Mage Tower", you can buy one from the mage merchant in Midor. In it's description, it seems to indicate that it's a device you can use to teleport back to the merchant. It's quite expensive (15000 gold I bought it for).
The problem? It doesn't work, at least not for Freya. I ended up dying because I was in a sticky spot, and I thought that it would work regardless of my "knowledge of magic". It ended up shocking me, and I was mauled by ... |
