The server is large, and we don't often have a lot of people on. But usually there is someone else on, and sometimes they are close to my level, and I would love to adventure with them. Left to my own devices, I might never run into someone during long hours of solo play. Is it alright to send a gentle nudge to someone that I could sure use their help in a quest? Or must I run around solo until I happen to meet up with someone? This is a social RP server after all. :~) Voriak  Fenarisk Joined: 14 Apr 2003 Total Posts: 823 Send PM   Re: Tells Posted: 10 Dec 2003 05:25 PM Essentialy, tells that affect anything IG (Like asking for a rez, letting people know where you are, sending messages that two characters would otherwise not know) are considered metagaming and not allowed. Chat all you want about normal day to day stuff in tells to not clutter up the server, but the characters are NOT psychic, so tells that are in reference to IG stuff is pretty much frowned upon. And if you want help in a quest, use the player tool gem that is given to you upon character creation to find people, or to flag yourself as looking for a group, as people check on the gem's information often. ~Fenarisk  StormKing Joined: 27 Nov 2003 Total Posts: 13 Send PM   Re: Tells Posted: 10 Dec 2003 06:25 PM If you go to the Vives website and click on the "Players IG" link, it will show you on the far right where everyone is at currently. It's not super detailed, but it'll put you close enough to find them IG! Just try making judgement calls with your use.
