| Vives IS insanely fun. BUT... (disclaimer) only when playing in GROUPS.
Vives is not at all catered for single player. And since when I am on most times, there is no one around, Vives is not fun for me. UNTIL I meet up with someone, whereby which it becomes immediately fun, and stays so thereafter.
The people in Vives do really roleplay, and roleplay well. I can't describe the fun I had last night playing with a certain gentleman who took his roleplaying to heart and made me feel ... |

| What IS the Voice Summoning Widget? I've tried it out and it doesn't seem to do anything.
It must not be made for PC characters, so why do we have it in our inventories?

| IF I install HOTU will Vives be "broken" ?
IF so, for how long?
I really only want the Robes and the Skies features. I've been waiting for a long time to play with a "legally" unlocked camera, didn't want to risk that hack going around messing up my updating ability, etc...
I'm dying to install HOTU, though. Let me know if it's a bad idea for Vives.

| I'm a bard.
The world of Vives is supposed to be rich with its own mythology and setting. So I go around looking for books to study about VIVES so I can roleplay like I actually know what's going on. I am a bard, after all. Shouldn't I be able to recount the actual history of VIVES to other people?
The thing is, every book you can buy in Midor seems to be from the Neverwinter Nights 1st Campaign. Why? Why are these books here, confusing people like me who want to learn about ... |

| If you go to the Vives website and click on the "Players IG" link, it will show you on the far right where everyone is at currently. It's not super detailed, but it'll put you close enough to find them IG!

| This is a Stormking. My character's name is Malphazien Kith-Ramere, an Elf Bard.
I am assembling perhaps 2-4 other players to join me in Vives on Saturday November 29th.
I am trying to make it an experience they will enjoy. I wish I could know if a DM will be handy to create a story for us to live out.
If not, I wish to hire someone who merely wishes to Roleplay as a serving person in one of the bars in Midor, where we would assemble and sit as a group at a table or in some chairs. ... |

| --Sorry, I forgot to post these details. It would be played on Pacific Standard Time. It is possible that if the game starts early enough, say noonish, it could run until 6 pm PST or even 8 if there was enough to keep us busy that long.
Another idea I have for this "serving person" is that, whoever wants to do this would throw out tidbits about "I wish I could adventure again" kind of theme... It could become known through subtle hints (but let my players think of it on their own, please ... |

| Okay, so far, I've only been able to pin down 1 player beside myself. But, if the chips fall right, it could be as many as 5.
I still don't know what time yet due to poor communication skills on my part, I imagine. Hope to be able to know what time we will start by some time in the morning, PST. I will log onto IRC and discuss what can be done around that time.
Do I have any takers yet on playing the "serving person?" while I roleplay a bardish intro out? Still curious.... ... |
