Hello from the great beyond! Posted: 24 Nov 2003 11:40 PM |
Hi all!
Perhaps some of you have wondered recently what has become of the famous artist Pokeundi, so I thought I'd pop in and give you an update. Pokeundi, and his real life wife (yes, poke is a boy in disguise), just had a baby about 2 weeks ago. We got super lucky and now have a healthy, beautiful, 7 pound (nearly 8 now) boy! He's wonderful, and Poke is having a lot of fun hanging out with his new family member. So, as you can all imagine, life is busy for poke, full of work, changing diapers, and catching a few winks of sleep here and there. But she thinks about Vives and her friends therein from time to time, and would like to say hello. Hopefully, she'll bump into some of you from time to time in the future.
Cheers!

Hey! That is wonderful news Poke. I am sure you and your wife are so knee deep in both the excitement and work that babies provide. Whenever you get to stop by, do so. If ya can't, we all understand completely.
Hoping your entire family the best! |

As a child, all I can say is this. We will make you regret it. Mwahahahahaha! Seriously, good job, I'm sure you have a good wife to help you along this long road. Raise the sprout well, and beware of the day when he says
"Remember, I choose your nursing home"
:D
Hope you have fun, and make sure to play as many computer games with this kid as you can. It's a great way of bonding, and make sure you let him win once in a while. |

Hello Pokeundi~!
This is a reply to the great beyond from the great beyond (and will remain in the great beyond for some time)...
Congratulations, and all the kisses and hugs to little-Pokeundi (Je. You didn't tell any of us this! Talking about in-characterness... ) It's quite exciting to see so much personal changes in all of you! As I told Q, I can't begin to fathom what it entails...
And then, I'm also in a period of changes. Some of you closer to me would have known this (or just happen to be in while I was looking for ears), but I've made a commitment to my career path in that I'm figuring out what I want to do later on, and why. I'll be starting graduate-school somewhere next fall, and will have considerably less time for Vives. The past month have been mostly preparation for GRE (standardized exams; think 'SAT-with-more-cryptic-words') and gathering application material, alongside real-life work and writing.
(for those of you who are curious, your dear Aria is planning to go onto research and teaching)
I'll be going on a trip this weekend right after my exams during the Christmas vacation. I don't know if I would be able to get consistent connections, so I'd likely continue to be absent for a while (in-game at least). I'll pop in and check my PMs and the forums, and hopefully work on something offline, like updating the Player's Handbook, and writing some history/quest and such, or separable little things like little cool magical items
In case I don't get to meet you folks before then, have a Merry merry Christmas, and a Happy happy, fruitful New Year. I'll be thinking of you on my travels.
Love, Aria. |

Wow, nobody can steal thunder like you Aria.
Just joking!
I just want to say that Tasra is so funnerifico at 2:10 in the morning.
Also I guess I will wish the best life I can fathom upon your new child poke, and let's just say I have a wicked imagination. *Points to the sword he took with him on his trip.... to MEXICO... for 10 years!* HA Aria beat that!
Now for a poem...
Roses are red. Violets are blue. You had da baby. Now see da poo!

Ps: I truly wish you and your family all the best, and say thank you to your wife every day. |

Ermm... Sion? What does funnerifico mean? I popped it into dictionary.com, no entries. I popped it in Google. Not one hit. And I really can't sneak -back- upstairs to hunt down my dictionary to look it up. Enlighten me.
And I'm suprised you remembered I live in the EST time zone :D. Don't worry, I'll be on untill 6AM! (As usual)

*blank stare* are you serious?
First off Funnerifico is just funny mixed with erifico
wow are you really serious?
and I put that because you put congradulamations or whatever.
Man you must be tired... are you seroius?
Second you put the time in your post..... so that is when I said you are funny.
You really couldn't figure out funnerifico?
Is your first language english?

Re: Hello from the great beyond! Posted: 05 Dec 2003 03:08 AM |
OK.... what's Erifico mean? Again, no Dictionary.com, no Google. I kinda figured it was funny and something, but I had no clue. Hrmmm... congrdulamations sounds like something I've said before... along with Huzzable and whatnot. "So that is when I said you are funny", you mean I'm only funny at 2AM?!
And yes, English is my first language. And I still can't figure out funnerifico. >.<
And besides, what are you refering to that was funny?
And I'm not terribly tired. You can do a lot on 3 hours of sleep. |

Errrm....it's a sorta extension to the word...you know, as in, the extension doesn't exist and is merely there to add depth to the word...
Like, "no problemo" or "fantabulous" or other such words, hee. |

Gonna try and make this as short and understandable as humanly possible.
1. erifico is like when Ned Flanders says, "diddly."
2. I am reffering to your first post! scroll UP! WAY UP!

Ps: If you don't know Ned Flanders that is your fault!
Pps: This is about a hundered words typed I will never get back you know! |
