*OOC: Brief explanation, consider this the 'guestbook' of our prisons.
Each time someone is caught committing a crime, and sentenced for it, or given a warning for a not so dire felony, please, those who were given the trust to play ingame authority figures (DM's or CPC's) post a notice here. That way we have a way to keep criminal records. Naturally if a person is caught several times committing the same felony, punishment shall become more dire. This way we can add realism by playing out those law enforcing entities in vives, huzzah! Fear my badge. (also lets see if those pesky bugger halflings really are the ones behaving badly most of the time *wink*)

Sentence: Death by hanging.
Status: Missing (WANTED, 3000 GOLD REWARD)
Other Remarks: Speculated possible involvement in 40 unsolved murders in Port Royale, travelled with a Dire Spider named Szzark (still missing).
WANTED FOR MURDER
Name: Szzark the Burning
Reward: 3000 GOLD.
Felony: Murder (1st Degree), Fleeing Authorities
Characteristics: Green Dire Spider, Unique "Death's Head" Design on back.
Remarks: Extremely dangerous. Last known location is Midor, presumably escaped to the woods surrounding Midor.

To All parties:
As The Midor Justice, I shall not tolerate such unlawful beings to get away without being brought to the courts! Fugitives who are running away, shall have a bounty placed on their head for their capture. Do NOT KILL Fugitives with a Bounty, they have not been found guilty until the court has decided! Depending on the crimes, the bounty will be higher and rewarded to the captor(s). Those who are already captured and in Jail time, I need all parties involved to please speak with me, Augustos personally or contact me through letter (ooc: Website PM's). And We shall arrange a trial time for these Felons.
As of Now:
Bounty of Justice has been placed on Volrath Soulflames Head, a three-thousand gold piece reward to anyone courageous enough to bring him to justice!
Bounty of Justice has been placed on Szzark the Burnings Head, a one thousand gold piece reward to anyone courageous enough to bring him to justice!
May Midor shed Justice where there is none. |

OK... I got time for this since it's lunch time at my place of work. (School)
First: When I ran away, there should have been a bounty on my head
Second: The instantly killed me
Third: They never took me to court
Fourth: A Judge never placed a verdict nor punishment
Fifth: I was sold into slavery by a corrupt gaurd (But that's OK, just gives me more of a chance to annoy Fri'el)
Come, my brethern! Aid me in this time of trouble! We must purge Midor of corruptness! We must ice over the earth so I can slide down every hill and mountain in existance!

Please, this is an IC FORUM, keep the OOC chatter LIMITED! The moreso cause this is a guestbook, a tool for DM's or even CPC's to inform themselves of current affairs and check the record of a criminal they caught, spotted, were pointed at. Checking the list becomes harder if you have to scroll through unrelated OOC remarks.
Same for IC remarks, unless you speak as an IC authority involved in the matter, refer to this thread if you must in another thread. Thank you.
And Tasra:
1) When you run away from guards who just caught you, do not think they will be bothered by going up to the office first to arrange a bounty. They will search for you, if criminals go into hiding, bounties are a good tool to motivate people to bring them in.
2) You resisted arrest, then ran away when treated fairly (you were allowed to keep your weapons). Then you returned by your own accord, getting near the Midor. Naturally guards are informed you were dangerous, and sadly we did not code NPC's to 'arrest' you. Knocking someone to 0 HP seems the only way sometimes to keep them immobile and listen to you. Unless we start teleporting them, but thats DM and tools, I like to keep that limited personally.
3) Your crime was a small one, not always needs there be a trial. If you are caught another time, it's different.
4) The Midorian Knights can be considered an IC authority in Midor. And read (3).
5) The corrupt guard was a story plot you could have played it out in a variety of ways. Also reporting him. That's what happens on a free Rp server.
We are still trying to fill up more CPC spots, so sometimes a DM has to be inventive if not the appropriate people are connected. Unless you fancy being let in the dark for several days and being unable to play your character.

Status: Wanted in Midor.
Other Remarks: A recent string of sightings of black skined goblins in dark masks has taken place in Midor over the last months. All surrounding muggings or other crimes. At first these crimes involved local thugs, however nobles have recently been robbed also. Approach with caution as any of these figures may be the Black Lotus.
OOC NOTE: For simplicity sake the 'Black Goblins' are represented by masked halfings. Please suspend your disbelief. |

Felony: Attempted murder (his victim's spirit has been salvaged, thanks to the mercy of Midoran), attempted robbery and bribery within the confinements of our City, impersonating a paladin.
Status: Official warrant is issued, the guards are ready to apprehend the suspect, who will then face the court.
Other remarks: Witnesses report the man is armed and his actions show he can be lethally dangerous. Stay clear of him and alert the nearest guard or knight should you spot him. His life is not forfeit, lest the court decides otherwise.

altho there is a part mentioning the name 'Sifen' as one an ancient gnomish tribe.
It would be the best if you could hold him at the prison and we will investigate the subject.

I wish to report Pickston Whatshisface.
He was standing in Midor earlier this day and I swears upon me unmentionables the lad was wearing nothing more than a bit of cloth tied up with string.
Now upon me honour I'm a modern man I am and no mistakes, but even one as worldly as meself couldn't help but blush at the shame of the sinful spectacle. I wouldn't be minding so much if not for the fact that his behind, so to speak, is as hairy as a Treant's unmentionables at the height of summer. I fear I shan't eat for a week.
I've managed to scrimp and save and I've gotten meself 15gp. Perhaps if we all chipped in we could purchase him something of the trouser persuasion? Don't need much. It wont take much cloth to cover his whatsits after all.
Either way, I'm a law abiding man as ye know, so I said nothing and acted all calm and collected like, but I reckons as something ought to be done.
Unless the ladies want to follow suit that is.

Guard 1: Did you hear the racket that rotten murderer is making down there. He keeps demanding to be put in front of the Justice right away. Seem's he thinks its his -right-.
Guard 2: *scoffs* Right! The only rights prisoners have is to keep their bloody mouths shut. Where does he thinks he is?
Guard 1: I dont know. Maybe those crazies in Port Royal treat their criminals all lovey dovey like that, but we here in Midor treat prisoners as they aught to be. Thats why we have a much lower crime rate.
Guard 2: *nods* I don't know why he's in such a rush to get his head cut off anyways. *grins*
Guard 1: *laughs* I hear you. Oh well, maybe I'll have to rough him up a bit tonight if I'm to get any sleep.
((Two notes: Please keep OOC comments off this thread, it is purely for IC posts. Also, you do not have to go by the nwn engine clock for time. In fact, I reccomend you dont, its way too fast. As far as any of my characters would be concerned, Hans has only been in jail for a week)) |
