Just to be contrary, I'll mention that I don't use a camera hak to play NWN. I don't care if there's a sky or not, I'm only pointing out that it's not true that "everyone" uses one. *grin* |

It stands to reason that transmitting a larger chunk of graphics data would introduce more lag. |

I've been touring the worlds and come back with a number of interesting notions, one of which might be of value in Vives. Namely, maps. One place had maps you could buy, either individually or as groups in booklets which were much more expensive. Possession of a map meant that the area was totally revealed when the character entered it. Maps were sold only for the cities. It did require that the stores and so forth be marked with pins in order for it to be of full utility, yet it would ... |

I know this one is the last one in the world you want to think about, but I thought it was cute when I ran across it. _If and when_ you ever get around to fussing over the Pack Oxen, there is a hak for pack donkeys, boars, and a few other animals. What I am thinking is that you could make an option for using the smaller animals with fewer packs. Say four for the donkeys and two for the boars. Or if you don't want to add any equines, then just the boars. There were bears, too, which would ... |

Oh, hey! I loved it! And I did sense the hand of the Beastmaster behind it all. *wink*
And believe me, Loli is staying out of crypts and catacombs from now on, unless there is _very_ overwhelming reason to do otherwise. Having almost been the weak point for evil to enter the Dwarven community and do as it pleased ... *shudder* |

It hasn't been resolved, I don't think. I only discussed it briefly IG with one person. Correct me if I'm wrong, but Coruva thinks it was illusion. Loli isn't so certain of that. She thinks it was real but that the gods prevented them from suffering permanent harm because of the strengths of their belief and the trueness of their willingness to die to defeat evil. She has certain tokens that indicate to her that it was not all in her mind, the apparent blindness of the clergy of Midor and ... |

Just for the record, it also occurred in the Elven city rather than just in the Human and Dwarven capitals.
So why aren't there any Dark Halflings? *wanders off puzzled* |

Also, while Loli may worship Bregodim, slink-in-Vives probably worships the Beastmaster, aka Arathon. Now she has the clue that drinking wine is indeed a proper step in the ritual to propitiating him she can feel good about it when she does it while playing. *big smile* |

For Loli the adventure started at the Great Plains campfire, where she, Avari, and Dina were quietly enjoying a bit of conversation about men and crafting. They were joined after a bit by Xix, Sinjin, Sirac and Solitare. After a while Xix evidentially became bored, and left. Shortly thereafter, Thelia showed herself and played around a bit with costumes, amusing some of them quite a bit. When Luther showed up, conversation turned to adventuring. Luther wanted to go fight the ogres in ... |

((Excellent work, and not too dark IMO. Perhaps a tad explicit in a place or two, for children, but I did not find it offensive. I kind of dread having Loli encounter this offspring, though.)) |
