Player Housing Stuff Posted: 19 Nov 2004 10:41 AM |
Heya folks :)
I'm about to embark on doing a lot more player housing this Weekend :)
Now I've had a massive amount of requests, and my PM box is full of 'em so what I'm asking is if people could post on this thread whether they've sent me a PM requesting housing...... or if any new folks want housing (we have a 3 month period of playing qualification thingy, so we're not deluged with requests....... and also we're more sure that if we build 'em that they're not gonna be disused in a few Weeks time ;))
So here's your chance :)
The people who have PM'd me so far will be "served" first....... and any new requests, can you PM me details of where it might be (your house) what sort it might be/interior decor etc etc? and also post quickly on this thread to let me know I've got a request? and I'll do my best to oblige :)
It might seem a little bit of hassle on your part, but it helps us out no end :)
Thanks!
- Ara
BTW......... requests asking for a Big Tower with a nice garden, with 5 floors, an indoor heated swimming pool and a bar etc are likely to be rejected What we tend to do is put several houses in one area in the game to save on resources........ such as in Scheppens house in Buckshire. |

The rumours that Luther has a place inside Gorlath keep are strictly, baseless, groundless, nasty rumours.

I would also suggest adding in more rental rooms -- there are many places where this could be added. I can think of two taverns in Midor, and at least one (maybe two) in PR. With these four, you could easily get 20 or 30 individual rooms.

Re: Player Housing Stuff Posted: 20 Nov 2004 05:55 AM |
My house was actually built back in May or so... uhh.. but was never implemented because all the DM's working on it decided to ... uhh.. leave Vives? I was just wondering if There is any remanents of it.... as you can tell, you know, from me being both a smith, and being Homeless (I don't even rent rooms) I'm not very Demanding, but the Smithy in Ferein I was promised by the princess was, I admit, a very Attractive idea *grins*. I haven't brought it up at all, because I don't like to be a bother... (Yeah right, think Demon Blade *grins*) but, since we're on the subject, is that still a possibility? It was designed using the Forest Tileset by Na which is now incoperated in Vives, and with which the new Ferein is being designed. I was wondering if, since it was done with that tileset, and Ferein IS being redone... if that's still at all a possibility? Otherwise, I'll be content with staying homeless.... Originally, it was suggested that I was going to have even an NPC Vendor.. the first on Vives, but Cantor beat me to it *Grins* Honestly, if the current staff doesn't agree with a smithy in Ferein, or me being awarded a full house just to myself (instead of apartments like Scheppens for example) Or anything else... I'm cool.... really. *thumbs up*
If you want.... I still have the screenshots of the house though... though they aren't hosted, or I'd just post them here. But I could Email them to you or something.
*thumbs up*
uhhh
Cheers! |

/Today I'm adding more housing IG :)
Can people I've promised it to or people whom have sent in requests for it post below?
Post where you would like it, what type of decor it might have, and also which charatcter it's for (only one house per player is the rule we go by). Plus anything else you might want/need :)
Sorry about asking folks to post here -again- but it'll help me out loads rather than sifting through 1000 PM's ;)
Thanks!

Re: Player Housing Stuff Posted: 29 Jan 2005 02:12 PM |
Me please.
Balthor Mountainhand - 22nd level Wizard.
What I really want is some sort of mage's shop in either Port Royale or outside of the Halls of Bregodim. Something simple, display case as opposed to a mailbox, then a private room.
Something cozy. |

Re: Player Housing Stuff Posted: 29 Jan 2005 02:28 PM |
Bennigan and Melina Songsinger!
A small, cozy place (perhaps with subtle elven influence)--first choice Icy Vale (or its outskirts), second choice Buckshire (or its outskirts) ...with whatever storage chests are allowed, fireplace, and a small library for Bennigan to put the books he's collecting, and any future books he'd write.
Depending on the structure, a small stone fence might be nice, with a small herb garden.
Any chance of getting a small black housecat named Shadow?
Thanks! |

Bennigan Songsinger--Brooding bard. |

The rules we use are people must have been playing here for 3 months and that only one home per player (not PC) is allowed :D

An encampment for Vurbag Posted: 29 Jan 2005 07:39 PM |
Vurbag Usko is often around Buckshire, so a small encampment in some nearby forest would be rather natural for him. Not something big, just a campfire, a small tent, an extra bedroll for guests perhaps, and some other items that a barbarian might find useful. No mailbox is needed. Vurbag can't read. |

Please, if you would:
Brother Trenton Hapsburg (aka Caliber Tor'gahl)
Something quaint and inconspicuous, but having the utility of a mailbox-like device. (With perhaps a touch of Malevolence?) Midor if possible. If not, the Port would also do well.
Thank you. |
