The Genius that is Quietus

Just a quickie to give a MASSIVE thanks to Quietus, the man with the gadgets! Here is what he has done for Vives/added recently..........
A custom database which means a fully persistent World. You always log back in where you logged out even in the event of server crashes/resets. This database is fully customisable and he is adding new stuff all the time e.g:
(1) It logs all kills for every PC, used for the XP system.
(2) Every players inventory is saved in the Database (Admins can see what players have even when not logged in ;P).
(3) We also record item transactions between players to catch duping etc (again viewbale for admins out of the game).
(4) Every single PK is recorded in the DB, with the names of the PC's (and logons), time and date - again viewable by admins even when not logged in.
(5) We admins can see a variety of information for every PC even when not logged in including: Location, HP's, their entire inventory etc etc.
(6) A real time updated Dirtnap league for everyone's amusement/perusal ( can be viewed in game in the ooc lounge or out of game).
(7) a webpage showing who is in game at any one time.
(8) The ability for us admins to PM single players or the whole server/groups in game without us even logged in!
(9) The bug list which is updated in Real time to an admin page, highlighting your bug reports for us to work on.
(10) There is an absolute shedload coming in soon too, including a complete character info page for admins, showing all the PC's info and stats etc.
There is much much more Q has done for us, these are mere highlights and there is too many to list here.

The reason for this post is because a lot of Quietus' Work goes unnoticed by many players, but without him and the awesome Database and coding Vives would only be a fraction of what it is now and what it could (will) be.

Hey guys! Thanks for the post... I've realized (and as Aria's confirmed) I really think it's just as addictive (perhas even more so) to build a mod, then it is to play in one :)
Anyway, it is very fun to work on this and I hope to continue to do so in the future!
