Re: The (Mis)Adventures Continue! Posted: 14 Dec 2007 03:40 PM |
| I recall a post on the same question a while back. The answer I vaguely remember is basically boiled down to just because you have an 8INT 8WIS, you could be dumber than a box of rocks on a bunch of things, but just some sort of idiot savant (which I probably mis-spellt), at chess. So, just play however you'd play, and enjoy it. I know when I play on Vives, it's the only chess-playing I get, so I try to make the most of it to keep myself at least a little mentally agile. |

After discovering that the Mushroom King is inept at summoning players, I have decided to give this event more notice.
The Mushroom King formally requests your presence in his Vives reality on 12/21/07 at 10 PM EST aka 7 PM PST. |

Darn.
Missed the first summoning, and I'm gonna be traveling on the 21st. I'll basically be away from Friday to Friday, or maybe back a little sooner, in which case I could play on the 28th. I'm all up to play tomorrow night though, for them folks what's into it. |

| Friday is iffy for me, too... for what it's worth. But if I see people on tonight, I'll be there! Need a break from finals anyhow. |

Playing by ear for me. I'm on MEDEVAC duty all week, so we'll have to see. Just keep an eye on the news and hope for a quiet day in the middle east for the next couple days.
Edit: I already know tomorrow (Tuesday) is out of the question for me, because unfortunately I do have some casualties coming in tomorrow. |

| OK, for tomorrow night, I HOPE to play, but we'll see. It's going to be fidgety at best, since I'll be on a train going home at the time. Will just depend on how well everything runs on my end, and what sort of wireless coverage I have from Sprint between DC and Albany. |

Yes, famous Chef sayings: "there is a time and place for everything, and it is called College."
Now with regards to the Mushroom King, I wanted a bigger turnout for that event. That said, maybe we can try something different meaning that you should still log in. |
