*scratches head* What was it 'e said? Keep right or keep lef'? I was playing her as being in shock... honest. And then she was shocked... literally

Ah... but after a truly epic battle of wits and magery, a lot of running around (and I mean A LOT) our two intrepid heroes won out in the end. Two entries in this list now, is that a record?

Re: A question on wands 11/7/2005 10:59:19 AM   (Total replies: 1)
Wow, someone else has actually taken the feat. Yes, it is expensive both in terms of gold and xp but personally it's something I can live with. Why? Well, wands are usable by others as well as mages, while I'm happy spending xp/gold now and again to make my mage a little stronger, I'm not about to do the same any more than very rarely for someone else. Don't forget that the feat covers every spell up to level 4, which is going to put a lot of power into people's hands if the xp/gold ...

Observations in the Vale 8/7/2005 5:22:36 AM   (Total replies: 0)
*In a meticulously written note passed to Captain Eowarar for delivery to the Council* <i>"I feel it necessary to pass on to you certain happenings which occurred today as I travelled through Icy Vale as given the recent occupation by forces of Midor, and the tensions between our people, they may be viewed as important. I was exploring the cold lands earlier today when the temperature became uncharacteristically cooler, such that all seemed slowed. Thinking it best to discontinue my ...

Portrait of a killer - Meram Anttin 6/7/2005 12:23:22 PM   (Total replies: 1)
The shadow flitted from tree to tree, disturbing nothing but the blood red mist which swirled around it as it moved, paused, then moved again until it found a particularly dark little corner and resolved itself into a blue clad halfling. The tiny little figure glanced quickly around and settled back against the tree, pulling a small sword from its sheath to sharpen it as her blue eyes flicked from spot to spot, searching the mist. She tested the edge on her thumb and, apparently satisfied, ...

Darkness. Complete, impenetrable, utter darkness. Silence. Utter silence, save from the low, shuddering, drawn out breaths from the tiny, blood-smothered form in the corner of the room. Sprawled in a pool of blood, much of it her own, and other things besides, tatters of clothing, blue trimmed with gold. Though without the darkness it would have seemed red. Encrusted with blood, much of it her own, both from the furious fight in the store and what had happened since. The almost ...

She desperately tried to pull herself away from the footsteps, fighting against the pain, trembling uncontrollably at the thought of what mught be to come. "Yer... yer don' understan'... please." The figure moved into the doorway, balanced perfectly on the balls of his feet, alert even here for possible trouble, even though it would be apparent to most that she could hardly move let alone fight back. "I am truly sorry this had to be little one," he said with a regretful shrug. She ...

Darkness. Darkness and absolute silence apart from the sound of her own breathing. Three times now she had jumped to her feet in fear as the door had opened and light spilled into the room from outside. Only for the silent figure to leave food in the doorway without a word and leave... closing the door behind him. Leaving her to scrabble in the darkness for the food which had been left. She huddled in the corner, hugging her knees tightly to her chest, still in pain from the missing ...
