Observations in the Vale

*In a meticulously written note passed to Captain Eowarar for delivery to the Council*

"I feel it necessary to pass on to you certain happenings which occurred today as I travelled through Icy Vale as given the recent occupation by forces of Midor, and the tensions between our people, they may be viewed as important.

I was exploring the cold lands earlier today when the temperature became uncharacteristically cooler, such that all seemed slowed.

Thinking it best to discontinue my travels, I returned from the orc lands to Icy Vale, and had just closed the gate behind me when a figure appeared on the cliff above... attacked the knights who stood guard with a storm of ice, and warned them to leave 'our lands'.

The so called Righteous Swords could clearly be observed to be most uncomfortable and unhappy - though curiously the militia seem unaffected.

After giving her warning the figure disappeared and could not be seen even with the aid of arcane magics.

I carefully recorded what I had seen and returned to Ferein to deliver this message which may be of some comfort given that it appears the Midoran forces would not seem to be as clearly in control as they wish to appear. It would seem that another power has taken an interest in their presence"
