Re: Thanks 12/30/2003 8:52:42 AM (Total replies: 1)
Have played my first hours as well. Though I was a bit sceptical at first (played for few hours yesterday afternoon and little happened) yesterday evening was very much fun! Thanks for that. I have no idea how you find my RPíng, so please give as much hints as you can when you see me doing something silly. And I have some questions (couldn't find an other appropriate thread.): First one: If I (my char) would want to write a book, how do I implement this in the game? Second: Can one post ...

Hi all, though I'm not entirely new I think its apropriate I post a message here. I played here briefly about two years back, had a great time then and hope to have it again. My compliments to everyone involved in Vives, from the little things I've seen so far the world looks even better then it did two years back, and the few experiences I've had ingame so far have been great.

First I'd like to reply to the God question. I like to bring this back to one of the biggest items in philosphy. Idealism versus realism (and in effect empericism). Most of the arguments against a God are scientific in nature. Most counter arguments go into the reaches of science, often in case what we now know, more often in what we will ever know. Sometimes, and in and this is in my opinion a very bad thing, the arguments take the form of scientific research, attempts to prove God in a ...

I'm reading a very interresting book about that now. Life of the cosmos, written by Lee Smolin. The main suggestion in it that the universe did evolve. Now that sounds silly, but if you think about it, he does have some very good points. The main question that this idea solves is that of the parameters in physics, I believe there are about 19 (that we know of), like the weight and charge of an electron, the gravitational constant etc.. No, why are these the way they are. On of the strange ...

John Nelson 12/1/2005 6:55:32 PM (Total replies: 1)
Mathien and Nathaly Nelson's marriage could not be described as a happy one. They had no children and although Mathien would never admit it, he blamed Nathaly, her belief in God must have not been all it could be. As the years passed and children did not come, Mathien and Nathaly grew apart more and more. Mathiel focussed entirely on his carreer and duty as a Midoran judge and his heart grew cold. Although Nathaly tried to reach him for a long time, in the end she gave up. They seemed destined ...

I have taken it upon myself to write a biography of one of the most influential men of Vives; Xaranthir. In order to keep the writing objectif and of any historical value, I will need as many sources of information as possible. This can be about his achievements, failures, adventures, relations, thoughts etc. If you know anything about this man, who was formerly known as Dias Ashfield, please share this with me in the interest of this artistic and scolar undertaking. Ofcourse you can rely on ...

How can you even imply that the tours ruin role-play and are nothing more than "your run of the mill hack 'n slash"?? Some of the greatest RP moments I've had on this server has been on one of these tours! To simply call them hack 'n slash is a discredit to all those fine RPers who have gone on said tours! I am deeply offended by your implications. I don't think Phoenix did in any way suggest that the tours are bad roleplaying. Just that a dragon bashing tour would be bad for ...

Gullener Tider 2/2/2004 7:03:58 PM (Total replies: 2)
Ever since Gullener had left his fathers ship he had felt somewhat empty. Not that he was lonely, but for the first time in his life he felt that he was missing something. Now Gullener was not the kind of person to feel like this, before he never seemed to have any trouble at all. And when others did, like his nice Rianne he would easily cheer her up, and reasure her all was fine. Though he was gratefull one tried to do this to him now, it had helped him just a little. He'd never thought his ...
