<quote>CR means nothing really....... it's almost completely useless in the NWN engine. Believe me I could easily make a CR 1 Kobold who could whoop a Dragon's arse! It's simply down to the mechanics

Boy would I like to see that Kobold.

*Hasted level 4 Kobold attacks level 18 Dragon. Dragon uses Knockdown, but Kobold has more Discipline than that (silly dragon). Kobold hits with Stunning Fist? Dragon is out of the fight. Kobold strikes again, oh my Dragon is ...

Laughs viciously as he destroys the hoop Tasra just earned some points through, kicks Tasra in the shin and takes her rifle; shoots first the ball (it's flat now) and buries it. Some individuals who can make great Role Play characters seem to lack the ability to make great fighting characters, characters with lot of skill and abilities to defend themselves. There are some really great characters even in this field, but I haven't seen a lot of high-damage ...

Oh no, I wish I could take that back, I don't like power gaming any more either, it is boring. Won't try to defend myself too much cause RP is more fun than power gaming hands down. Just heard two comments that made me think, one was there weren't really powerful players because of limited weapons, two was character setup (feats and stuff) isn't that important, RP is more important. True RP is important but if your character has crap AC and crap saves and doesn't do any damage, can you RP? ...
