The lithe woman stalked gracefully through the trees, her delicate feet meeting the damp ground with only a soft shuffle of wet leaves as she navigated through the swampy area. Her face carried little expression, the shadows that hid her relieving her of the pleasant smile she habitually wore even as she stepped out from the cover of tree and shadow both.

Her green-tinged eyes drifted to the monument as she entered the plains, focusing on the hazy glow surrounding the stone before ...

YesSmiley If you'd like to use anything of mine, or talk to me about it, let me know. Interestingly I had started a novel based on Macha quite a while back. Makes me want to pick it up again.

It was so much fun! Smiley It was great to be a part of an event with so much RP, and not so much slashing through the enemy (though I missed the fighting that did happen *sighs*), and also to have the chance to be a part of something so obviously personal to a character's storyline. Thanks, Johe, for the chance to participate, and to the DM's for the effort in making it happen! Also to the other players ...

As promised..the ultimate shout out! :)

So many thanks, so many people that shaped my RP life on Vives. If I don't mention you..smack me so I don't forget!

Firstly, I have to thank all the 'beginning' folks. I miss you all so much! Ras (Sinjin) for being a constant companion and whose restless feet helped me see much of the then Vives, Mykal for his tear-jerking story-lines, Coruva, Balthor (and Thomas of course!), Calia and Chandler, Calia (the priestess) and her ...

Ack! I could've sworn you were in there in the beginning!! *gives WA big hugs*

But see...now you get your -own- shoutout! All of your characters are fabulous, from Alton's funny conversations and no-nonsense talks with Macha, to the Pirate King! and everything in between, you're great fun to play with!

Okay...

Thanks go out to Holace, Lucius, Ulalume, Romulus, Talion, Kalannar and Dante (along with you two evil DMs who continue to try to drive Macha deeper into insanity - you know who you are!!) for some fabulous RP.

And many thanks today to Lucius, Nidarren and Ayntherian. I had a wonderfully fun RP with all of you, and immensely enjoyed chatting with Ayntherian :)

A huge shoutout to the people involved today:

Trishy, Morphling, St. Raven and a little cameo by Willom and Iris.

Most fun I've had in a long time :)

Yes. And cudos to you too. That was way too much fun, it's got to be unhealthy to laugh that much...

Oh yes, I was so dying from laughing too. Great session.

Ohh..I've been extremely remiss in thisSmiley There are far too many people, I'm sure I'll forget someone. If I forget you, don't hate me please....

Arcane - for just being so darn fun in so many ways, and putting up with Macha's melodrama so entertainingly.

Elvalia - cuz it's Elvalia..what more can I say?

Johe - for being the bestest right-sized friend a girl could ever have ...

I don't know whether to take that as a compliment or an insult, Paul...

And I very much enjoy RPing with Juylina as well, being one of the only chars Macha can be really open withSmiley It's not just about the vapid talk of clothing or discussion of other people bordering on gossip! really!

She walked away from the tinkers in Buckshire that night with a different light in her deep green eyes. Her hips swayed lightly around the corners of the fences she skirted, the smile tugging at her lips more than the usual polite, courteous mask.

Tristian's veiled words were part of it, she thought. She'd put the pieces in place and by his words, he was still interested. Their talk on the hill had implied that perhaps her plan had gone awry. But even her warning of what she was ...

I have been hearing many tales of the Elven sisters watched over by Aros....what a heroic and romantic song it would make! Mayhap if I seek them out, I could gather enough information, and permission to sing their tale....If they didn't reject me, that is....*sigh*

Benny!!

*hugs* I'm so happy to hear that things are going well for you in real life. Good luck and so much happiness in all that you do. You were one of the first people I met here and I always felt like you 'took me under your wing' so to speak, one of the reasons I got hooked so well and quickly. I, and Bronwyn, mention your name often to hope your doing well. All the best in love and life, my friend.

Well...I'll contribute to this conversation a little. I've played on Vives on and off for a fairly long time. I have one of the 'epic' characters that seem to be talked about. I've also seen many, many characters surpass the levels that took me months to achieve in a week, as WA says. Is it about levels? Of course not...I haven't gone out 'leveling' since my first year on the server. I'd rather do what I do...make a story, talk to and try to involve new players...RP.

Now, many ...
