6. | Re: v2-68-3 changes Posted by Sheikh Ferox on 7/12/2005 8:41:58 PM Ok-
As of today, invisibility has stopped working for me altogether. Creatures (without True Seeing, etc.) target and attack as if the spell hadn't even been cast at all.

7. | Re: v2-68-3 changes Posted by Sheikh Ferox on 7/13/2005 2:04:33 AM Well, it seemed to have sorted itself out at the reset. Strange... but seems to be fine again.

8. | Re: Vives Personals Posted by Sheikh Ferox on 7/23/2005 4:08:52 PM Achaeil Llanowar
This vaguely elven-looking man, travels frocked in the simple white habit of some obscure brotherhood, acclaimedly a mystic by trade. He carries with him a presence that is rarely seen in a man as apparently young as he is. It is comforting in the best of times, and downright terrifying in the worst. Those that know him well, however, tell of a man that is quick to laugh and quite fond of good company.
Nevertheless, rumours speak ... |

10. | Re: The Rescue of Whitestone Posted by Sheikh Ferox on 12/14/2005 12:54:29 PM ((Is there any way that we can postpone this a little bit? I'm swamped with finals and grad school applications at the moment.)) |

Yeah Conan O'Brien! |
12. | *Note nailed to a tree in the Buckshire Trading Post* Posted by Sheikh Ferox on 11/11/2005 2:00:30 PM Let it be known~
Malakhi Aquistine is seeking a set of two fine rings. If seeking to make your wares available or to offer commissioned work, leave word at the Broken Mask in Port Royale. Handsome payment offered. |
13. | Blood and Nightmares Posted by Sheikh Ferox on 10/17/2005 2:16:58 PM "Gentlemen."
Mälakhi smiled as he surveyed the the crumbling town of Maldovia before him, now ornamented with barrels of explosives.
"We are about to accomplish what all of Midor has been unable to do for a hundred years. Congratulations."
He looked on stroking the head of his raven, as Conn and Jubei placed the last of the charges. Syn's Tower simply no longer existed and the town would soon follow suit. He felt a pang of longing for ... |
14. | A Figure in the Mist Posted by Sheikh Ferox on 7/31/2005 1:58:10 PM
Twilight falls on Brandibuck. Mothers usher their children inside, watching the gathering darkness with an accusing eye. Fathers bar the doors and windows. The night watch takes up thier posts around the meager walls of the town. It is heartbreaking to see. They are scared- it is written all over thier childish faces.
Darkness now, but few are outside to see it. Families are huddled around their fires, doing their very best to cling to what light they can. No, there is no one ... |
15. | Re: Death and Dying and DMs doing it. Posted by Sheikh Ferox on 6/9/2005 5:08:31 PM Heh, Malakhi does not know what you are talking about. But SI is correct. The threat of impending danger (done through atmosphere, flavor text, and especially music and environmental effects) creates a much more immersive, and thus enjoyable situation than does serving the threat to the player on a silver platter, so to speak. That being said- I think that we should all be mature enough to agree that Vives is a -dangerous- place to begin with. If you dont want to run the risk of (brutal, ... |
16. | Re: The collected Letters of Sir Aidan Whitestone Posted by Sheikh Ferox on 10/6/2005 12:54:13 AM And so the troubled Paladin returned to the White City.
He was recieved with no fanfare, no celebration. The disciplined respect formerly given by the gate captain seemed to him now formal and cold. In the market, he saw the knowing glances that were passed between husband and wife. Between the vendors in the market. Between the guards at their posts.
He thought back. It had all started with Tia.

17. | The collected Letters of Sir Aidan Whitestone Posted by Sheikh Ferox on 8/25/2005 4:40:47 PM Laurana~
I have not written in what seems ages, and I am sorry. It is difficult to write even now. I would not wish you to worry about my condition. I am still sound in the flesh, if not the in the heart.
I shall be making my return to Midor much sooner than I had formerly thought. Midoran has lost too many of His faithful, lay and paladin alike. The urgency seems to be very great now. I shall start for the City within the week. I shall swear my ... |
18. | The collected Letters of Sir Aidan Whitestone Posted by Sheikh Ferox on 8/15/2005 2:04:23 PM Laurana~
It has been five weeks since now since my I have left the White City, though perhaps it shall be twice the measure by the time this letter makes its way to you. I shall be praying that it finds you and yours well.
Errantry has not been the relief from the life of military rigour that once I thought it would be. It is now my faith that is tested, and admittedly tested to its very limit. The continent has proven to be cold and lonely removed from my Brethren and ... |
19. | Intermission Posted by Sheikh Ferox on 8/15/2005 6:45:16 PM The head of a medusa is seen staked upon a Midoran Cross near the entrance to the abandoned mines of Port Royale. Its eyes are sown carefully and tightly shut and a cross of ashes has been marked upon its forehead.
Beggars in the area tell of a man enrobed in white and a blond-haired woman placing it there in the early hours just before dawn. |
20. | The collected Letters of Sir Aidan Whitestone Posted by Sheikh Ferox on 8/15/2005 7:26:53 PM Laurana~
Midoran willing, this letter will find you well, as before.
I regret to say that time has not warmed the coldness of the Northlands. The clouds that have settled in the sky and the rain that falls in incessant sheets have come to match my greying mood to irritating perfection.
I have now seen city of Port Royale for myself- I can now say with authority that everything that you have heard in Midor is true, with neither embellishment nor exaggeration. ... |
21. | Re: Roleplaying death and resurrection Posted by Sheikh Ferox on 8/30/2005 10:35:20 PM Also, Midoran is the One True God who is, in fact, responsible for raising all fallen heros.
Just something to keep in mind. |
22. | Re: Roleplaying death and resurrection Posted by Sheikh Ferox on 8/31/2005 11:24:15 AM Though arguably not as bruising as where he took you? |

Is there any interest from anyone in playing a hunting party of Tarik-followers for new characters week?
Always wanted to do it.
