A HUGE shoutout to Val, Erin, and Shard, as well as Balthor, Londo, and even High Scholar Romulous for the funniest tavern scene ever, followed by the "WHY ARE YOU FOLLOWING ME, ELF?" scene, and then to the "You raided my home, which happens to be Gorlath Keep!"

It was fantastic. Great RPing by all.

Today's Topic: Effort

There is an old song which asserts that "the best things in life are free". Not true! Utterly false! This was the tragic fallacy which brought on the decadence and collapse of the democracies of the twentieth century; those noble experiments failed because the people had been led to believe that they could simply vote for whatever they wanted… and get it, without toil, without sweat, ...

59. When you write a thematical essay trying to convince your friends that Lawn gnomes look more like Dwarves, than real gnomes. When they don't understand, you take personal offense.

60. You get disgusted when you see Santa's elves, because they resemble nothing of what REAL elves look like. Then you find it offensive Santa is racist because he hasn't hired any Dark Elves.

No?

Me either.

We keep the working ones to ourselves. We just let everyone else try out our prototypes.

I would like to see more expansive ruling authorities.

For example, "A" or many human kings - who actually feel like Kings. To get that feeling that they are an actual ruling authority, who do have interests outside of the roleplaying in their castle. And are actually an empire, not just a city.

For Example, like how Midor has that small outpost near the farmlands.

Races (specific ones, like Humans and Elves I would think), should have huge tracts of ...

What people fail to realise, is that the villain in all of these books - is just a taller Romulus, and thus alot of these ideas get swung by me (since my character is copyrighted). So when she approached me ten years ago and gave me this nonsense of killing off one character I was furious.I wanted to kill FIVE characters at the end of the last book,- hell I wanted all the books burned! But in the end, level heads won out the day as well as astute bargaining. In return for two hens, and a rooster ...

Sign your name here (Character name), and whether or not -NON DAMAGIN- PVP spells may be cast on you without consent. Non Combat spells do NOT Include casting -any- kind of spell on a person engaged in combat with an NPC,World Monster, or Other player. You will STILL need to ask for consent.(I.E If you paralyze a person while they are in combat with a boar, you are in violation of the PVP rules of not asking for OOC permission) Non-Damaging spells inflict NO damage of ANY kind. Having played both Rugby and American football (albeit in my younger fitter days) I can attest to both. American football has the facade of strategy but doesnt have the endurance to make it such a game. And its no where near as rough as Rugby.

How many American footballers do you see with Mangled faces?

Maybe step onto a rugby pitch and see a real sport.

You'll find that Soccer is so much more enthusiastic over there, because you guys have legal gambling. So when a team loses, alot of the guys in the crowd -wheew-. Watch out.

We here in the states....well... as a Football player, I'm personally offended to be grouped into having the same sport name as a "Foot Fairy".

Congrats Liverpool.

Better yet, strap on a Helmet , get in a stance, and line up against me. I'll make your "5 seconds of running" feel like 10 years of pain *grin*, when I sink a gut wrenching elbow into your chest and a fist under your throat. Ahh the good ole days.

It is with great honor I announce the appointing of two highly qualified magicians to the council of The Magistry. Draconis Flametongue, and Thorn Hallblund - bothrunnerups for the position of Lord Magister, have been appointed to the council. I spent many hours reviewing their qualifications. Draconis is a master in the art of evocation, and his knowledge is top notch. Thorn, can conjure a bucket of water in the middle of a desert, and thus he has been named to the Council of Conjuration. Be it known, The "Turnip Lord" has been placed on the Wanted list. The case number assigned is TL#230. It is of your utmost duty to apprehend this creature. If captured, a task force will be assigned to study the creature. As of now this shall be considered of a mediocre nature. Meaning, that you should not be stopping your current duties to find this creature - but should devote time to it atleast once every other day.
