Well i just happened upon Vives and after reading up on the lore and info I thought i might give it a try. I read that you could try the game out for a bit but would then later have to fill out an application sheet.
Anyhow i was able to download and install all the packs (great download information, made it very easy) and jumped in to check things out and see what kind of other people were around.
Right after logging in i was booted, did i miss a step i needed to do in ... |

Can we edit caltrops to add a temporary slowing effect in addition to 1 dammage? Might add a good use for them. If you ask me stepping on some of those would slow me down, they look painful.

Just copy the slow portion from the druid spell "thorny growth" (i think that is what it is called) and add it to the caltrops script. Since the script is already used in another spell that makes it simple. |

I often find it extremely useful to zoom the camera in close in those forested areas and use the wsad keys to move around. Its not that great of an angle but atleast you can see what is around you when things get hot. |

PDW,
A fix for that is to include some "normal" boots into the loot table (one with no stats, or lesser stats) so that it has more of a choice than just one. |

I think that would be fantastic if you could drink so much you lose all forms of reason (1 int/wisdom) but feel no pain (sky high Con).
Sure we can all RP that just fine without any game aid, but if they game physically allows that to be taken into adventures (combat, speech, ect) then that just makes our RP jobs easier. |

If everything else in the computer is fine just go out and buy a new powersupply.
Be careful though, everyone will try and sell you the most expensive top of the line model that can handle a TON of power. Check to see what your computer needs and buy something around that level. If you buy something too powerful it could fry your computer by accident.
I swear all premade computers you buy from dell,bestbuy, ect are specifically designed to destroy themselves in some way ... |

You craft alot of those things (the flasks, the oils, ect). You can either make them yourself or but they from soemone (i can make the flasks and oils easy).
Basically if you cant find it someone probably crafts it. |

While we are on the subject of crafting is there anything that can be done about getting wood from trees? I need them for several alchemy recepies however i cannot use the wood cutting axe because i'm a druid. |

Be very careful about damaging party members too. I threw a choking power bag and a few people in my party ran in and were dazed, the familiar saw me as an enemy from then on and would constantly target and attack me. Unsummoning was the only thing that would stop it (other peoples familiars also saw me as the enemy and repeatedly targeted and attacked me).
I dont like the AI on pets, they arent very smart so if I am in a party i usually dont like to use them. |

I was just playing with Lucius and His spider got stuck on the Voice summoners' hostile list (or the other way around). It was immune to dammage so the spider just kept following it hitting empty nothign for 0. |
