| 1. | Re: Event: the Tomb of the Last Legionnaire Posted by Liisi on 2/13/2008 2:48:00 AM I'll be there if I won't have to wake up in the middle of the night. |
| 2. | Re: Event Rescheduled: the Tomb of the Last Legionnaire Posted by Liisi on 2/28/2008 3:08:54 PM Assuming that I'm not getting confused with the time zones yet again, Saturday should work for me. |
| 3. | Re: Event Rescheduled: the Tomb of the Last Legionnaire Posted by Liisi on 3/1/2008 4:10:54 AM The time would be perfect for me but... It's likely that I'm not going to be around next week. *has a sudden urge to break stuff* |
| 4. | Re: Event Rescheduled: the Tomb of the Last Legionnaire Posted by Liisi on 3/7/2008 12:20:49 PM Um... I'm actually going to be able show up, if this is still happening. |
| 5. | Re: Shoutouts Posted by Liisi on 1/22/2006 6:14:41 AM Yeah, thanks for everyone there, was great!
Boy scouts... Nearly bursted a blood vessel laughing :D. |
| 6. | Re: Shoutouts Posted by Liisi on 6/3/2006 8:41:05 AM Aww, It actually happened when I was awake and I managed to miss it? *sniffles* Ah well, I'll just have to cherish the memory of Alis's encounter with Dias/Darafrobozzomethingxtir a couple of days ago. It was a rare treat for me, since there are usually very few players around when I'm IG, and nothing really happens. Except when Dana is around :). A big shoutout to her as well, for keeping me entertained every time I run into her. |
| 7. | Re: Shoutouts Posted by Liisi on 8/7/2006 5:28:24 PM What a day... I haven't been playing much latery because of a sort of, well, boredom with my character who always seems to be missing all the fun and the action. Today, that was definitely not the case :).
On with the show...
I love Bevin! The cuteness, the imitations, the... thievery! I was cracking up non-stop :D. Cheers! Applause!
It was a pleasure to (finally) bump into Astrid, she's hilarious... and Dana chasing her bat, oh my god! And Marlena's new, ... |
| 8. | Re: Shoutouts Posted by Liisi on 9/6/2006 4:27:37 PM Uh, I don't know what to say... I mourn for Dana in RL. Seriously. At the same time, I am thrilled by the amount of great RP her fate has resulted in. Everyone involved in the plot line deserves a shoutout. It has been a key event to poor Alis, I honestly don't know where she'll end up now. And it was just a short while ago that I was getting bored of her!
Another big shoutout to the kow-hunting krew (Lucius, Ophelia, Caddo), as well as the DMs that played a huge part in what ... |
| 9. | Re: Shoutouts Posted by Liisi on 9/29/2006 6:07:21 AM The festival was really great, totally worth all the suffering that is in store for me today for staying up so late that it is early. The comedy piece was hilarious, DSM-IV and Marlena did a fantastic job :). All the other performances were brilliant as well, kudos to all who participated, and also to all who were there to witness it and made the whole thing alive with their reactions.
Thanks for the organisers Vulpina and Katya, I'm really glad you came up with the idea in the ... |
| 10. | Re: Shoutouts Posted by Liisi on 11/2/2006 4:33:47 PM so it's really fun to have another character along that can be terrified by a normal encounter.
Normal?? You call it NORMAL?!? It was insane! It was easy to play scared because that's exactly what I was :). I was so certain I was going to die but somehow we (well, okay, Moriarty/Talion) pulled it off. Cheers! It was fun, in a pulse-rising, sweaty-palm-inducing sort of way ;). |
| 11. | Re: Shoutouts Posted by Liisi on 11/14/2006 5:08:06 PM To continue on the previous posts, cheers to everyone who was there, it was great. It's been rather quiet on the server lately but today was something else. Spooky, for one. Alis is scarred for life!
Oh, and a special shoutout to Bel/Pretzel for the OOC banter silliness earlier today:D. |
| 12. | Re: Shoutouts Posted by Liisi on 12/7/2006 2:59:43 AM Oo, secret identities. Cool, I had no idea (duh, obviously). Too bad it resulted in killing off two great characters. |
| 13. | Re: Shoutouts Posted by Liisi on 8/11/2007 8:30:32 AM ^^ Right back at ya! I was a little bummed about missing the crypt crawl(s), but the verbal ping-pong match with Tris definitely made up for it :D |
| 14. | Re: Shoutouts Posted by Liisi on 9/18/2007 12:18:28 PM Tristian (you rogue, you! If only Alis knew what you'd been up to!)
Ah hell! So now she'll never find out and there won't be a confrontation? Now I'm disappointed! Like, big time! Sheesh, and I had it all planned... *grumbles* |
| 15. | Re: A Desperate Fragment Posted by Liisi on 1/3/2007 10:45:16 AM Alis visits Brandibuck for the first time since baking an enormous pile of pies for the wake. She buys some ingredients from Merrarry, who gives her Salt's note. She thanks her and walks away reading it.
After reading the note, she looks bewildered. What's this all about, Salt? I would never make a deal, not for myself and definitely not on behalf of anyone else! This is madness.
Chewing on her lower lip, she writes a reply note and delivers it to Salt's ... |
| 16. | No better time than now Posted by Liisi on 9/11/2007 7:22:12 AM She’d written in her journal that she loved him. Telling it to him was an entirely different matter.
”Let’s go for a walk”, he says. They walk towards Gladden, Tristian a couple of steps ahead, Alis following. She stops, opens her mouth, but no words come out, and she resumes walking. Stops again, stays quiet. They reach the entrance of the mines and go inside, and there’s no longer room for the words that she had on the tip of her tongue.
Sounds of battle fill the air. ... |
| 17. | Re: Web Comics Posted by Liisi on 6/16/2006 5:32:45 AM SGR is great :). I'm kinda surprised that there are so many people here that read it. Oh, and today they had a banner that I just *had* to click, about Dr McNinja, "he punched a snake in the face" :D (http://drmcninja.com)
I also like Devil's Panties (http://devilspanties.keenspot.com/) |
| 18. | Re: Web Comics Posted by Liisi on 4/17/2008 8:50:08 AM Oh, crap. How am I going to get any work done now? |
| 19. | Re: Your Funniest RP Experience? Posted by Liisi on 12/17/2006 6:53:55 AM This might be one of those cases where you just had to be present but... I’ve participated in only one LRP (vampire) and most of the other players were novices as well. This one guy thought he’s discovered a loophole in the rules: he had a skill which enabled him to run so fast that he’s practically invisible, so he goes and runs around two others talking, in order to eavesdrop on them. When the GM found out, he told him that he could do it but he’d have to remember to drink up afterwards, ... |
| 20. | Re: 1014 feet - can you do better? Posted by Liisi on 12/14/2007 2:35:26 PM NNnnooooo, not kittens! Anything but kittens! |
| 21. | Re: 1014 feet - can you do better? Posted by Liisi on 12/14/2007 3:40:51 PM why not? They are biodegradable and a renewable resource! *NSFW for pediatricians/NSF baby-loving people in general*
So are... babies! You can toss them all you like! |
| 22. | Re: 1014 feet - can you do better? Posted by Liisi on 12/14/2007 3:54:07 PM You gotta throw an NSFW in a comment like that Liisi I work in pediatrics!
Woop, sorry! Lemme fix that! |
| 23. | Re: 1014 feet - can you do better? Posted by Liisi on 12/15/2007 3:29:46 AM Liisi, since you like kittens so much I thought you should be introduced to Orisinal dot com. Just another dose of electronic heroin from California. Enjoy. But don't touch the mescaline.
*whimper* Turns out I don't like deers falling into their death because of my incompetence any more than shooting kittens out of a cannon! |
| 24. | Re: 1014 feet - can you do better? Posted by Liisi on 12/15/2007 2:26:53 PM Yesss, cat herding! *twitches* Much better! |
| 25. | Re: A Gnomish Essay on xp Functions Posted by Liisi on 11/20/2007 3:23:07 PM Err, well, I for one, thought it was frowned upon. |
