| 1. | Re: Shoutouts Posted by Deege on 1/21/2006 8:12:47 PM The DM event today was fantastic. Awesome to see such a great story unfold, and be able to puzzle through some things. The climbing/jumping/squeezing are a whole heap of fun, especially when they're roleplayed out. I can't wait till the next one!
P.S. I still wanna see Salt play his harp next week :P |
| 2. | Re: Shoutouts Posted by Deege on 5/6/2006 3:21:54 AM A shout out to all the guys that went to the volcano. Finally going on a Wild Tour was awesome, as was getting a badge to say that I did it. Also a shoutout to the DM that made a good adventure an awesome one. Very well done! |
| 3. | Re: Shoutouts Posted by Deege on 5/7/2006 4:57:08 PM Thank you all who were a part of it, every single person had something to add - even the elven bard who had to ride the cart home, one name the Barron missed and I'm going to mispell it Tyilian (not sure who played him).
*points to his post* I didn't miss him...grrr....
Oh... right sorry. Guess I'm just still exhausted. Well he needed a second shoutout anyway. Going along with a ... |
| 4. | Re: Shoutouts Posted by Deege on 5/14/2006 12:07:00 AM To everyone who was at the Buckshire fair, especially DiabloStan (Balthor) for the magic show. Well done! Also a shoutout to Fictrix for an awesome lot of events recently. Each and every one is well thought out and is a whole lot of fun. Keep it up. |
| 5. | Re: Shoutouts Posted by Deege on 5/20/2006 8:46:12 PM I want to thank Fictrix. The recent spate of events have been fantastic! You're an awesome story-teller, and you bring every character alive.
Also, every character that has met Tyailin or Drado over the past couple of days have been truly awesome. Again and again the people on this server suprise me with their characters and roleplaying ability.
Keep up the great job everyone! |

| 9. | Re: Vives Personals Posted by Deege on 11/5/2005 6:35:38 PM Militiades Petrios Those in the Midoran order may recognise the name, and remember him to be a paladin. He was sent off to Port Royale to track down a runaway criminal and return him to Midor to stand Justification. He hasn't reported back to Midor for a while, and it is rumored that he was seen at Ladriel with some rebel paladins.

| 12. | Training of Militiades Posted by Deege on 11/7/2005 10:41:40 PM Militiades stood in the empty field. “Focus. I must focus” He slowly slid his sword out from its sheath, making a hissing sound. Suddenly the sword was whistling through the air, making a song far sweeter and sharper than he had ever heard a bard produce.
Militiades stepped through the forms taught to him in the academy, practicing each stroke until it is perfect Fire in the Forge melted into Waters Grasp which flowed into Earths Cradle. Again. Fire, Water, Earth. ... |
| 13. | Re: Help! They're building Midor in my country!! Posted by Deege on 3/3/2006 3:25:27 PM To me it seems like Thomas S. Monaghan is protesting against the current laws in the US, instead of trying to stop the sale of condoms or stop abortion all around the country. The citizens of the town are still able to leave and come back again, so it's reasonable to assume that they can buy condoms or get an abortion out of the town.
This will probably mean that more people won't use protection, and will find it difficult to get an abortion. This is no different, and in fact is ... |

| 16. | The story of Tyailin - The beginning. Part 4 Posted by Deege on 11/3/2005 5:12:03 PM Staying to the shadows as I had learnt from my halfling friends, I quickly concussed the last man as he was walking away with a heavy brick lying by the side of the road.
I gathered up other pebbles that were lying by the road, grabbed my sling I had practiced with so often knocking bottles off of a wall, and slipped back into the shadows. Creeping along quickly, I followed these men until one of them stopped to scratch his head. “Stupid move” I whispered under my breath as I ... |
| 17. | Re: The story of Tyailin - The beginning. Part 5 Posted by Deege on 11/5/2005 6:40:57 PM And then he was there. I knew it was him, it couldn’t be anybody else. It was Zurishadai’s father. There he stood, as proud as any man could be. He was grinning from ugly, misshapen ear to misshapen ear.
And then, there was the scream.
Her scream ended it all. The decision was made. The living, writhing serpent inside of me devoured my very soul. I was no longer me. I lost my grip onto all that was pure and good in this world. Hate overcame me. Hate was me.

| 18. | The journal of Tyailin Posted by Deege on 1/16/2006 7:32:41 AM ((OOC disclaimer: This is all ooc information, as Tyailin would never reveal this to anyone. RP accordingly))
An ornate book lies on the final resting place of Tyailin Caiaphas. Opening the book, you see that it is a journal and you open it to the first entry.
--Journal of Tyailin Caiaphas-- Entry 1 I have decided to keep a log of my thoughts and activities in this journal. Why, I don't really know. Perhaps as a lasting legacy of what I have caused in this ... |

| 20. | The story of Tyailin - The beginning. Part 2 Posted by Deege on 7/3/2005 1:41:59 AM I heard Mother calling on the day of the incident. “TYAILIN CAIAPHAS, GET HERE NOW!” You know when Mother calls you by your full name that she is getting serious, and soon the wooden spoon would be pulled out of the cupboard. “COMING MOTHER!” I called back. I quickly left the group of young thugs and future criminals that I was talking to, and quickly ran home.
When I arrived everything seemed normal. Mother was standing in the doorway with her usual facial ... |
| 21. | The story of Tyailin - The beginning. Part 3 Posted by Deege on 7/7/2005 5:44:27 AM As I began to get closer, and was just around the corner I saw men in white armour, and there was the horrid stench of burning and something else, another underlying smell, barely masked by the smoke.
Just before my house the street was packed full of these strange humans. They were forming a solid wall steel with their shields, and barred all entry to the alley of my home. Being elven, I was able to sneak under their noses (Humans are always so daft) and I turned the corner to my ... |
| 22. | Re: Religion and D&D Posted by Deege on 7/3/2005 10:55:31 PM First off I'd like to state how wonderful it is to be in a community that is so open to all different kinds of views of the world, especially regarding religion. I would also like to state that I am a follower of Jesus, and this article absolutely appalled me.
My first main point would be to say that William Schnoebelen (his name is just below the heading) is certainly not indicative of the general belief of christians around the world. He takes a one-sided view of this issue, and ... |
