My two cents on this one: "The most personal relationship is the one between an individual and God." That about sums it up in my eyes.

Male IRL and male IG however, I have many friends who play females and they are males. One of them is so good at it I noone had ever figured it out in EQ until he told them. He is an outstanding RPer and a great guy, and he is married! hahahahaha

Well hell. We don't have to be smart or well mannered when we can kick everyone’s a$. Sure sure sure some day somebody is going to knock us off our high horse once and for all and we won't be able to get back on. It is bound to happen. When it does everyone else will point and snicker for a day or two until all hell breaks loose and you figure out that this school yard bully that’s been in the third grade for three years has been beating the snot out of the really evil kids all this time.

While I'm not 100% sure of how it worked, on one PW I used to build for the items Tag or ResRef (I don't remember which was coded) All of the items where a basic magicless mundane vrs as far as regular NWNs went however, we controlled the properties of the item like enhancements and special abilities in this code. The first part dictated what type of item it was such as weapon, armor, shield, and so on. After that was other values that dictated other properties. How the code read these tags and ...
14.Who to inform?
Posted by Athkoac on 3/8/2005 7:48:36 AM
Well I've spent long enough in Vives and have a basic understanding of the world to put finger to keyboard and type out Bhrodi's character background. I started with a basic consept and my mind has developed the details as time progressed. My question at this point is who do I send some of the info to? For example there are things about Bhrodi that noone should know unless he tells them, and there are things about Bhrodi that even he doesn't know. My current plan is to type it up in two ...

Alright then.. is there a list of all the DMs so I can PM them all a copy once it is finished or is the a drop box common to all DMs?

If there is no common drop box might I suggest a Forum that players can drop threads in but only DMs have read access. This way all DMs can see the issues that should not be common knowledge.

Everything sounds better in Latin. I have Bhrodi's surname tattooed across my abs. I love when people stare at it and have no clue of the meaning!

I learned early on during my five years of being an EQ junkie that players need to be careful what they ask for. Most things we complain about, if given to us, change the world in ways that lead to its demise. Vives is my first true RP online experience since the MUD days and I can honestly say that it looks like the DMs are doing a fine job of running things behind the curtains. That being said it was very good of original poster to publicly apologize to the person who was also involved, ...

22.The Plaque
Posted by Athkoac on 2/11/2005 9:27:11 PM
The wind ripped at the sails of the ship as the water of the ocean crashed down on the vessel. The Mist Ripper was slammed from wave to wave with the force of a smiths hammer driven to the blade of a glowing sword by its masters hand. The creaking of the main mast was the only sound that could be heard in the wailing of the sea. Suddenly a voice could be heard within the chaos "Bhrodi!...Bhrodi Ferocitas!." I turned my head over my shoulder to see the pale face of my sergeant staring ...
