| Is baking a wheat bread supposed to yield any product, or is it just for fun/xp? As it is i'm given xp but no product. It's the only baking item i've managed to try since it came back, so i don't know about the others. |

From my own play with this, there are some foods you can make and some that kick out XP with a success, but no product.
Frankly I never got good enough with Shale the Baker to bake bread. I did have success with some different flours, and with corn oil. You can also roast meats, and I think I've seen some other tokens in game that were produced from food crafting (At the wake for Lucius Edmonds there were pies and cakes maybe, produced by Liisi's character Alis Vike, nee Alis Rapidshill). You can also produce fruit juices, but not all of the brandies and beers.
I think its fair to try out recipes and post which ones work and which ones don't.
Also keep in mind that - gratefully acknowledging Ficcy's recent placement of a bakers oven at the new herbalists' - the builders are working to/have pretty much eliminated food crafting from the game.
EDIT: ...like Paul said. |
"What are you talking about?"
"I'm talking about dying."
"What's that supposed to mean?"
"It means lying in the ground with dirt on your face and holding your breath forever."
