Event Tuesday Night - Journeying After Some Good Advice
This event begins with rumors. Around Buckshire area alehouses, including Doc McGillicutty's and the Four Winds Inn, an orange-robed old man with rail-thin arms and sparse hair on his head is asking after adventurers seen recently in those areas. Word spreads that the old man - known to many as the seer named Salt Sower - is assembling a party of reasonably brave and skilled persons, to help him reach a destination in the south of Vives.
Ale-soaked word reaches the drinking houses of Port Royale... the Black Pearl... the Broken Mask... and a certain pie shop, where the orange-robed man was frequently seen during a recent stay in Port. Interested persons are to gather in Swiftfoot Glade, outside of Brandibuck Vale in the very near future.
When: Tuesday, Sept. 18 at around 9:30 PM EST (or Sept. 19 at 2:30 AM GMT) The event will last for 2-3 hours, give or take.
Where: Assemble in Swiftfoot Glade, adjoining the grounds of Swiftfoot Hall in Brandibuck Vale.
What?! This is an event for all levels, ideally just a few high-level types and the rest being mid-level characters (around lvl. 6-12). We will take a long journey and return to the area of Brandibuck Vale at the end. Anyone is welcome to join, but if you've been everywhere on the server five times, you've been here and there won't be much that's new to you. The real purpose of this event is to introduce newer players to some of the areas on Vives and the storylines connected to them.
The destination for this journey will be revealed at the start of the event, but it is a very dangerous area that few characters can solo and hope to survive. Some "cover" will be provided, but there is a real risk of death where we are going. We'll have to play smart if we don't want to lose anybody!
PM me if you have questions - we can shift the schedule around some to accommodate more folks. |

(Just so people don't think nobody is going to show up, I'm fixing to take a nap this afternoon so I can be up for this event with Dr. Greg Ticon. So make it awesome and show up too!)

Ashe might show his face if I work out what to do about sleep. He is a little... feral at the moment, he hasn't spoken to another person in quite a while.

I will do my best to be there. Roywyne may come rather than Eltarial. I feel there is more hope for this character.

I really had better not play Eltarial then. :-)

Starts in a little less than an hour. Follow the sexy half-orc if you don't know where Swiftfoot Glade is.

Just thought I'd say, was fun playing with everyone last night. Took an awful while to get going, of course, and went later than anticipated, of course, but it was good fun. Sorry I had to cut out early, but unfortunately work has to come first. Now we get to see if I fall asleep while starting an IV today! :D

I am sorry I didn't make it. Still, at least it leaves Roywyne at the right level to support my friend: Lord Radish's character.

Oops! Sorry for popping off like that last night. Lost my wifi connection and a quick look at the clock had me running to bed. It was nice to wander around again though. Thanks to all!
