A large notice has been placed on the bridge leading to the Happy Harpy. It reads...

"Now Entering the Independant Island-Nation of Wilhelmia; Domain of High Ruler Hans Wilhelm. Any attempts at hostile invasion will be met swiftly with raining fireballs.

Current Residents:

Hans Wilhelm - High Ruler
Rachel Wilhelm - High Lady
Bligh - Head Accountant
Shard - Duke
That Guy Who Lives Across The Street - Citizen"

There is space below for names to be penned in.

Shard Aerinmane - Spellsword
Avion Bladesaint - Pugilist
Vincent Lawful - Adventurer

"One Color ~ Countless Shades"

The next time Hans returns to the Harpy from a day spent in pursuit of ne'er do welldom, he will notice a great deal of candlelight seeping out from the library adjoining his abode. Inside, Rosen Vimes lounges on a chair, reading an intermediate tome on wards against dark-hearted enemies. When he appears, she rises.

"Ah, sir Lothar. Were it not for your impeccable taste in literature, I might have been impatient for your arrival. Were it not for your incomparable company, I would now be torn between yours and that of your collection.

"I'm afraid I've come with a bit of bad news concerning this whole... independent nation venture on your part. Bad news in the immediate sense. If you'll allow me to digress for a moment, I was told that you had my elven blade in your possession. May I have it back?"

(( PM or IG meeting? either way is fine with me. ))

True solace is finding none, which is to say, it is everywhere.

*One night Alexi finds himself deep into his cups. The end of the binge finds him at the threshold of the Happy Harpy Hall.*

*He regards the posted sign, swaying uncertainly*

"Knight?" he slurs sarcastically into the clammy dark.

Silence is replied.

"Knight of what, Wilhelm? Knight of nothing!"

*He picks up a muddy cobblestone and scratches his name off the list with drunken determination.*

Knight of nothing.

((You think you could scratch me off that list? No hard feelings, of course.))
