Wake for Lucius Edmonds

A somber, half-page advertisement running in the Port Royale Daily Rag over each of the next four days:
A Wake for Lucius Edmonds
A Wake will be held mid-week in the Broken Mask tavern in Port Royale, which once gave home to the esteemed magus Lucius Edmonds. Edmonds' friends, loved ones, adventuring companions, and well-wishers are invited to make a brief speech to his memory and say their last goodbyes.
Lucius Edmond's remains will not be available for viewing.
This memorial service will continue until several hours have passed, or until all food and drink have been consumed. Donations will be accepted at the service for a charitable gift in Edmond's name to the Seven Sisters haven and hostel on the Port Royale Outskirts.

((Two possible times for this event to be scheduled - Please post here if you have a preference and would like to attend this event:
Wednesday, Dec. 20 at 6:00 PM GMT (1:00 PM EST)
Thursday, Dec. 21 at 8:00 PM GMT (3:00 PM EST)
This is basicallly a walk-on, social event. It will go on for as long as people are gathered in the Broken Mask pouring their hearts out, ripping their clothes, keening, etc. There will be good food and good drink!)) |

((Right, in the interest of matching Robber Barron's erstwhile playing schedule, Liisi and I are moving this event to a later hour. The wake will now run from around 4:00-7:00 GMT on Thursday 12/21, for a start time in the EST timezone of 23:00 on Wednesday evening this week. That's when Robber played, so that's when we are hoping his mates can make it.
Otherwise... Liisi's pies and all the booze will go to Small Stones orphanage I think.)) |

After Liisi and renter were so kind and rescheduled this lovely event so folks like me could attend, I get an unforseen family thing and get back too late to participate. *pouts*
From what I hear of the guest list, probably better that Ulalume didn't show, anyway. Serious apologies for the absence, and thanks for organizing it and attempting to include me.

gross. RL work and tourist season are combining their efforts in a rather successful attempt to put an end to my IG time. Gnimini certainly would have come, and, under different circumstances, Dredger would have liked to attend as well. a great character...
