Afraid of the Dark

ZigZig scared.
Da shadows walkie and talkie. It dark and cold and friends stop seeing Zig. Zig alone most days.
Zig suck thumb.
Zig no likey the dark. Zig afraid. Zig also hungry. Misses da Mizta Johe. When Mizta Johe wuz 'ere 'e paid for da Zig to eat lots of Miggin piez, YUS! Yum! Now Zig cold and alone in the dark and Zig hungry. Zig not eat much now. Piez stop coming when Mizta Johe left.
Sometimes peoplez come to shop but no likey to talk to Zig no more. Zig misses nice people. Zig misses friends.
Today nice people came and bring light to Zig and talk to Zig. Zig sooo happy! Nice peoples say dey come backs to bring more light. YUS! Zig happy to have friends again. Nice old man left talking light with Zig to make Zig happy.
But dey gone now and it dark again and Zig afraid. So Zig suck thumb.
Zig stare at shadow. Scary shadow stare back and laugh at Zig. Zig cold.
Zig hope friends come back soon. |

Da friendz come back and bring big pumpkin with faces! Is syn-o-lantern, they say!
Dey put light all over da place and da pumpkins everywhere and da candles all over Zig's room! And dey give Zig yummy food!
Zig soo happy to have friends. Friends say maybe have party some day, YUS! |

Zig hear about bad man saying bad things about nice lady who is Zig friend. Zig GRRRR. Zig so mad Zig run out and yell at bad man and make bad man poo in his pants!
Zig will speak to nice lady when Zig sees nice lady next.
Zig will ask nice lady to teach Zig to read.
Then Zig will take bad man's job.
