I will now, unfortunately, be in my RL Work Head Office for 3 days until this Friday afternoon, where I hope to read the gazillion PM's in my inbox and resume building etc.... This is unfortunately why I have been absent this weekend, alongside a visit from my mother (who "tidied" everything away only for me to then move everything about again :P) The upcoming weekend should look like this: 16 hours sleeping. 31.9 hours in the toolset. 0.1 hours doing "private" things :P I'm in Head Office this Week until Thursday evening so will not be able to get into irc until then too :/ Just thought I'd keep you updated. So apologies about that one :/ It WILL be in this weekend though..... there's quite a lot in it..... although the bigger areas are mainly focused on Winterlands (as they are actually finished for the most part, others still need touching up). So there Will be accessible by players fully this weekend, and (I'm not giving locations, but I guess it's not hard to guess hehe) included in these are: (1) Numerous new areas (12 or so in the Winterlands all accessible etc). (2) 15 new monsters in above areas. (3) Complete with area descruiptions with some basic Quests. (4) A Temple to Helkris and associated new clothing/armours etc etc..... (with the areas I have also put in area specific treasure tables, so (hopefully) what might be dropped in Cold climates and by the erm.... *things* that live there would make sense. (5) More crap. I have thought long and hard about creature placement and the types that live in Cold lands, now....... It's been tough, so if anyone can think of anything (actually doable using existing models, or a bit of creativity) then please post. Here is a list of SOME things we have already: *SPOILER ALERT* *SPOILER ALERT* SPOILER ALERT* SPOILER ALERT* DO NOT READ IF YOU DON'T WANT TO KNOW WHAT NEW CRITTERS YOU MIGHT MEET: (1) Large variety of Frost Giants. (2) Ice Serpents. (3) Winter Wolves etc.... (including larger than normal ones) (4) Polar Bears. (5) Snow Orcs. (6) Ice Hag (based on nighthag,,,,, made up by me :P) (7) Yeti So...... anyone think of anything else? (got know clue if such a thing exist) also ice mephits might be neat to put there.. what about winter owls and such? and err.. ice things D&D based.. dont really like doing such things but lemme see the encounter list for icy places =p hmmm cant find that.. can find a list of monsters per CR.. dont think it helps tho, i will keep looking.
