Yes it happens often, but then rarely it works to your favor in a like manner.
Zube has successfully crafted 5 healing potions in a row. All which are currently at a 55% chance. |

That's a result of the nwn random number generator.
If I get a string of failures, say, 2 or more, I just stop and leave it for another day. No sense in being perverse in seeing how long your bad run of luck will go.

once upon a time...I remember getting two out of two successes at 25% chance.
of course there were the many 0 out of 4 or 0 out of 5 at the same or higher, as well. your run sounds exceptionally sucky. i feel for you.

I'm now up to seven healing potions in a row without failing once!
I must be using up all of your good luck.
Of course I recently faced a gaggle of haggerdly monsters within one area that emit a spell which Zube only succombs to on a roll of a 1. She rolled that 1 over and over and over again. I couldn't believe how many sequential 1's I got. |
