A few questions, which may sound hostile, but arn't meant to be. They're more amazed and gobsmacked.
1/ THE HELL IS GOING ON!?
2/ How long do you plan on this going on for?
3/ Where exactly is the discussion of this not only world changing, but GAME changing event?
4/ What exactly do we say to any newbie who logs on, wants to look at the world, and finds themself in the form of a badger?
5/ What exactly do we say to any player who logs on and actually wants to play their PC?

And, in accordance with my usual policy of clarifying an inflamatory sounding post a few minutes later once I've read it through, I do think this is at worst an interesting idea, and probably something that'll spawn a good ammount of RP.
I'm just really wondering what's going on, and why it wasn't discussed. (Or did I just miss a discussion, making me stupid and this whole thread moot?)

The tells players are sending me are of the annoyed variety and I can hardly blame them. |

'Tis only for April Foooools.
The polymorph can be cancelled at any time by going to Cancel Polymorph on the radial menu for anyone who hates it vehemently. Granted, they will still be purple... but at least they won't be a badger any more. |

It was a surprise.
As Ficcy says, you can cancel it and ignore the purple color if you wish. It' won't last much longer.

lol, I didn't even realise you could cancel it. I suspect the angry ones didn't either. |

*permanently purples Lytton (as we all know he's fancifully purple inside the softy!)*
That put aside, I must say, what a streak of brilliance! I commend you pdw and your cronies, if more were involved, with this formidable April Fool's scenario! As ever, people forgot to realize the nature of the date :D . Which once more confirms how DUMB humans are! We are doomed. |
Why can't I PM myself?

Ficcy was the co-conspirator. She brought purple badgers into the world. I turned on the code.
I don't think I'll be suggesting any polymorphs in the future though. Too many people who don't have a sense of humour.

Bumpity bump for public forums.
Our pranks would sometimes backfire.
And it wasn’t just the player base that would get mad. Other DMs did too, haha! |

Bwahahaahahaa...
Well, for April 1st, it'd be hard to top the first one we did, but I still thought this one was funny.
Yes, people really do take their RP seriously and 4th wall breaking stuff tends to upset their day.
